Hey guys... im at work & really bored so thought id put something up to entertain a few out there..? About 5 months ago i put up a thread asking for advice on what would be the best drift hack to buy for under 3gz & we looked into corollas, old 280zx's, datsuns, R31's etc. Well i ended up getting a manual VN wagon which is probably one of the best things ive ever done besides throwing snowballs at people below skiing while up on the lifts at Mt Bulla.. There is absolutely nothing i havnt been able to use this car for. You can make babies in it, go camping, drift it (better than a lot of other cars surprisingly) & fit as many tires in the back as u want!!! I have actually spent some money on it which has made the car now handle very very well & also goes realllyy good too. It has more punch than Auto & Manual BA 6 falcons & any stock or lightly worked auto V8's. Its currently got the following: Handling -Custom 600 pound front & 400 pound rear springs (made by Browns Springs) -Pedders shortened shocks -Whiteline front strut brace -Whiteline rear sway bar -Nolathane bushes in front -Heavy duty front sway bar links -17x8 BBS meshwheels with dish -Daytona bucket seat Power -Cold air intake -Lukey cat back exhaust -4.11 diff gears with mini spool -Excedy clutch Believe it or not with the above mods this car has been as much fun as my 220rwkw R33 which now has a blown motor. I took this VN to the calder wednesday night drift meet & temp didnt go above qtr for 7 straight laps!! I never though id brag about an ausie car cos im a strictly NISSAN man only but this car has really exceeded my expectations from when i bought it lol. Anyway i might get back to work now and do something useful... I'll put some pics up when i get home tonight...

Hey guys, Im actually thinking of doin something a little different. Since its illegal for me to drive an R33 Turbo & my turbo motor is now blown i've though of popping an RB25de in it with some high comp pistons and cams... Atleast this way id be able to drive the car anywhere without any headaches. The car would still be driftable on the track as i have the supporting mechanical diff, suspension et etc. Just out of curiosity, has anyone done any internal work to an rb25de or have any advice on this..?? I must also admit, i do have a soft spot for quick naturally aspirated cars...

i would not even consider/contemplate/think or ponder about selling these wheels for under $2700 with those tyres!!!! Sexiest most aggressive looking wheels by far.

lol geez this thread got big didnt it? Well, we all know for a fact the running gear in an R32 cannot be compared to that of an R33. RB20's are laggy & need big mods to make decent power. The R32 manual gearbox is pathetic as ive seen they cant even handle a thrashing for more thn 6 months when fitted to an N/A R31. I havnt heard one R32 owner say his 2nd gear doesn't crunch & high RPM. If i had 12 grand & had to choose between an R32 or 33, of course id go for the quality - R33. Dont get me wrong i love R32's & but if i was to buy one it would HAVE TO have R33 running gear.

Did I just see 20's on a GTR? I hope i didnt. Gently take those stickers off, put gold 18x10 BBS deep dish wheels on it & then sell it... or keep it!

Can u drive? Also is that wanted number just something to tell the boys about once u have it? or are you actually getting over driving cars with 200-250kws or whatever and u want to move on to something more exciting?? I'm not saying u have, but IF u have just come out of a front wheel drive Integra (no other cars) please start off with a moderately stock manual gts-t...

just raise your car a little dude... my wheels stick out by 3 cm's on the rear end... stretch some tires on & ur laughing.

Hey guys.. Just a question out of curiosity.. does anyone have or know of any special brushes/sponges to use to get into all the spokes on the 'meshy' wheels...? Cleaning these wheels with a rag or standard sponge is basically hell, and id love to know if there is anything people out there with these wheels use to clean em! I was thinking something along the lines of a tooth brush style stick with a strong rounded sponge on the end which u could jam between the spokes nice and quickly.. ? Please let us know as i just bought a set of Genuine BBS mesh 17s for my VN wagon drift pig.

Nice.. keep the information coming. Id like some info of how they have gone on an RB25 though.. If i get one for my RB25 with the Internal gate that it comes with, what do i need to do to fit it..? I was told i need a V-Clamp separate...

I'd suggest u post up a pic of the actual bar ur selling.. What you have attached is the real thing which looks much better than the fibre glass copies.. On that note, awsome price mate.
