  1. easily capable of 300kws?? u sure? I have the same turbo on my RB25, not making more than 220 mate.. however i have the 0.64 exhaust housing... what size is urs?
  2. Hey guys I think they are 60mm big each (the larger type) of guages which come with the 2 x guage holder pillar mount thing.. they light up blue & work fine. I will have more details when i have a good look tonight..... Melbourne buyers only. Pickup. $160ono I am negotiable, need these gone!

Hey guys so that u know this is the car that i am talking about so that ur aware of what the cam gear would do for me.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=168432 I've been advised by my tuner, that it woudlnt be a bad idea to get an exhaust cam gear, since i may pick up some tourqe in the power and possibly even up top power... Just want to know the main purpose of these, what u can do with em, why they help out & how much. Thanks!

  5. Hey guys.. Lately in particular in my 33 I've noticed how badly the hicas effects control of the car when drifting.. When off the brakes in second gear crossed up, every LITTLE movement made from the steering wheel completely shifts the rear end in and out! and i hate it! Its just way to responsive & rapid and makes it hard to judge and know what to expect. I went for a session in my mates 180sx which has the lock bar, so no HICAS and i felt the car was so much smoother & un-surprising! How many of u guys have lock bars in ur 33's and how much of a difference did u feel???? Give me the good & the bad.
  6. Yeah well R31Nismoid i think people with cars up in ur area are a little more swtiched on.. Here in the northern suburbs what seems to somehow rule unfortunatly is cars with Cut down truck intercoolers and 20x6.5 inch wheels with 215 rubber... I think thats what causes shifty dyno owners stuffn around with the modes on there dyno's to impress customers more.. A mate of mines manual VN 6 stock as a peeled orange? made 125kws at the wheels on one of these dyno's im talking about... By the way these cars had that same figure at the ENGINE about 17 years ago...
  7. OK, heres the outcome! -Fuel fluctuating problems was the Fuel map sensor in the microtech! Rob from Creatd replaced it, so now the fuel line doesnt keep changing & is a much smoother line compared to how it was going in zig zags! -Lagginess was a couple of split rubber hoses, one was major I am now very happy, the car was finally tuned on 14psi and made a strong (good curve) 212kws at the wheels.. HOWEVER this is a brand new fully Digital Dyno which has had cars put on there from other shops claiming 230rwkws etc and have made 20-40 less kws... Basically second gear, no matter what road surface once u nail it as soon as it hits around 3800-3900rpm it completely brakes traction, sometimes even just goes crazy off limiters through the whole gear. Andd the Bee *R Limiter is JUST SE* !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So thats about all guys, thanks heaps for ur help!! Oh and i stil strongly urge everyone not to get this turbo for an RB25! exhaust housing is just too small, should work very well on an SR20 though!!
  8. hmmm interesting, thanks so much guys for the amount of info uv posted!! I am going to print this page off and show it to my tuner tonight and see what he says... I cant see why it would be the fuel pump though, since its brand new & was just put in before the tune by the guy tuning the car! In regards to the motor rebuild, it was built by P.E.T Modifications in Thomastown vic.... Since i have bought the car i have done these 720cc injectors, 040 pump, Bee *R limiter, serviced the cusco diff & gbox. (Mechanically wise) All it basically needed was fuel to what i thought would give the car GOOD power... but this turbo has really surprised me on how sh*^ it is unless its only the tune holding things back..... As ive said i dont mind having under 240kws but id want it to be very responsive!! If this tbo is pushing out 220 max and is laggy, in which way would this be better over a F&^*&^( standard RB25 turbo!??? I have mates pushing 200-210 from standard 33 turbos and they have awsome downlow power.... This whole thing is getting really annoying...

  10. BHDave - yeah its jst an adapter to fit that turbos smaller flange.. Why would it be the fuel pump?? Basically i will go past the tuners shop tomoro again & take photos of all the graphs the car is reading and post it up!! Then tell me what u guys think.. I will also let u know if it continues changing mixture with the other Microtech plugged in.....
  11. Hey guys, Need some info/advice fast cos its doin my head in... Basically have an R33 GTST which i bought with quickly: - a rebuiilt/forged motor - Microtech computer - Ball Bearing Garret GT8-76R tbo - Garret cooler - 3.5inch exhaust no cats etc. - Bosche 040 Fuel Pump - Hi-flowed (By creatd motorsport) R33 injectors to 720cc - Profec B Spec 2 Controller - Bee *R Limiter - Standard fuel rail & fuel reg Now basically its getting tuned at Creatd Motorsport in Campbelfied melbourne & the tuner advised me that this tbo would MAX at 240kws at the wheels right. I didnt mind thats awsome power for the street. Now problems are as follows: a.) On the same tune that he has done he will do 3 power runs after each other without touchingg tune & the fuel map shows completely different readings each time!!! eg, medium, Very rich, Rich, lean etc. Now im guessing this could be a fault in the microtech? Sensors ETC have already been checked but seem fine!! b.) The turbo seems to be f*king shithouse unless its the tune!!on 10 psi the car is making around 200kws & on 14psi is making around 217, anything above 14 psi there is NO POINT OF, from 14-17 psi there was like a 4 kw increase!!?? WTF Another thing related to this issue is whatever power it is making its is making it reallllyyyy lazily!! I thought since this tbo has a small exhaust housing (apparently the same as a standard S14 SR20) the car would be respsonsive as F&^%& but... no!!! The dyno graph looks shithouse!! It gradually makes its way up to whatever power whether it be on 10psi or 14psi and once it reaches its maximum goes str8 back down!!! Literally What i want is something that makes power hard at once & holds this power through atleast 3 thousand RPM of rev range! Thats proper power, the way mine is making it is a joke & useless. Now on monday the tuner is going to put another Microtech in the car from another R33 and load the same tune into that computer and see if the fuel graph keeps changing without touchng tune. If it doesnt change then we'll obviously know its a problem with my microtech, if it does change we will then seriously scratch our heads!!!! Anyone with high knowledge in relation to tune and or past experience please let me know whats going on, whether its the computer, or anything else u think may contribute to this headache.... This is a picture of the exact turbo im running in my car which has the smaller 0.64 A/R exhaust housing.....
  12. hmm thanks for the info guys... how about the turbo....? Can you guys inform me on any opinions/facts of this turbo running on an rb25? Is it normal for it to lose puff that early on my motor, is my exhaust housing really too small as per what my tuner says? ANDDD what could be causing the laziness down low????

  17. hmmm, check the windscreen wiper blades dude.. Also look out for any GTR or Turbo badges on the car.. if there is none it wouldnt be turbo... Also check if the car does wheelies, thats another way of identifying...
  18. THATS the bonnet i want!!! for an R33 gtst... Whos Dmax? where are they? Does anyone make just the vent thing on that bonnet? I wouldnt mind just getting the vent thing and not changing my bonnet.. cos i cbf with getting bonnet pins and having a fibreglass bonnet in general.. Please let me know, im sure i remember some trader was selling just the vents as the one above to go on ur existing bonnet!!

This is being a little mean but i had these conversations with friends in i think Grade 4 when i was learning my 7 & 8's times tables.. but not up to my 9's as yet.. they were a little hard at that time... But anyway, straight out unless ur car is making 200rwkws and u have 3:9's or higher gears ratios in the diff auto sucks and manual is much more fun.. People who say auto is faster etc etc, can eat an overdue banana. Manual delivers power in a completely different way, more power goes to the wheels with a manual gearbox as to an auto in ANY car.. As said earlier in this topic, autos are only quicker when cars are running 10 second passes and u need more traction, manuals are full of wheelspin when ur popping the clutch and smashing through gears because of the way the power is being delivered to the wheels.. I had an auto Passage with 110rwkws and no matter how hard i stalled up the auto off the line a manual sigma would keep up untill atleast 40kms.. lol

  24. ok, any information to back that up?? Is that the maximum amount my turbo will flow to?? Im guessing it should be a f*k of a responsive/tourqey 230-240kws??
  25. yehh, i just want a quick, responsive street drift car... In my old r33 200rwkws just didnt cut it for drifting in the dry... second gear was happy but not loose enough.. just needed those extra kw's to allow for more throttle play... oh sorry and im also running a profec B spec 11..... Can anyone give me any info on what kw's this tbo will push out at the wheels on an rb25?
