I am looking at getting a bleed valve but dont want to fork out for the boost guage. In my eyes it would be best to get an EBC if u r going to spend the money on guage and valve (would be nice but $$$) Anyway, I was wondering in ur experiences what is one of the more trustworthy brands of valves that rarely spike since I wont have a guage. Will be getting the car dyno'd once installed as I will also have a SAFCII by then. Hopefully all spike issues can be resolved on the dyno then. What are peoples opinions on the various bleed valves and of having a bleed valve without a boost guage? Have heard the DNA valves are pretty good. ANyone vefify this.

by single knock i mean just that. there is only one (1) knock noise when initially raising revs and then sounds fine. If however i let the revs fall back to idle then raise them once more this single noise will repeat again.

Hi peoples. I have noticed this single knock noise coming from the top of my motor when I begin to rev it. By single knock I mean when I start to slightly rev the car there is one knock noise (pretty loud) and then no other knock if the revs are kept above idle. It only seems to do this when just beginning to rev the car above idle. Besides this the car runs fine. It sounds like it is coming from under the black cover where the spark plugs are. Anyone have any idea on what this might be? I want to resolve it as it might be causing engine damage. I have recently lost my licence so have some time to assess the problem without needing to drive the car and maybe damage something. Hopefully by the time I get my license back I will have safc II and bleed valve and the car will feel twice as quick. YAY.

do you think this light flywheel should come before my other desired mods rev210? Is there a reason for suggesting the flywheel while doing the clutch? cheers. I have worked out an equation over the last few months. It is not a very complicated equation though! Skyline = (- money+time) - thin wallet = FUN

suppose to be slightly better. Would have to drive the car for 100 years though to justify the exhaust mod costs.

heh guys. Trying to decide on my next mod. I know youve probably heard this before but should i get a safc or a bleed valve system next. I currently have filter and exhaust mods. THe car is running quite rich though. Also, my clutch is starting to go. Any estimates on what a new one might cost. After I get both the safc and bleed valve i will not be doing anymore mods (heard that before!). THe standard clutch should still be able to handle these few mods I imagine? Thanks people.

Snezza, a hi flo panel filter is just that: a higher quality, higher flo panel filter (cotton rather than paper). It is also reusable, meaning that you can wash it and reuse it. Redline hi flow panel filters are made exacty like the K&N ones but are cheaper. Makes a big diff from the paper one.
