...next step SAFC? Any suggestions for next mods from seeing this dyno peoples?

hi all. Was not there for the dyno day last week but just got a dyno done this mornig from Steve and got 230.2Hp. Only mods are full custom 3" exhaust and Redline panel filter. Pretty happy with that considering I though something was wrong.

Just with the standard guage it is now reaching 5-6 mmhg when before exhaust it only used to reach 3.5 mmhg. This converts to about 10psi which is a bloody great improvement. A boost increase of 3psi. Happy-yes I am.

Just wondering how much a boost guage might cost and where can i get one for a good price. Also, Im wondering what sort of boost my car might be reaching now. It has turbo back 3" exhaust and Redline air filter. Cheers. Actually, one more question. What would be the next best mod. From reading these forums it seems to be a S-AFC II

about 4 litres over a 3 month period consisting of around 3000ks

Since Ive had my car I have had to constantly replace oil and even more so of late. I cannot see any oil leaks anywhere and I dont think Im burning it.(never seem any smoke) Just wondering if any of you people might have any ideas of what is happening to the oil. Other than the quick consumption of the oil the car seems to be running perfectly.

they have those ice blue globes there for $75

I rang them yesterday and there is no such course in this state. I think that this course can be done in other states and there has been talk of it in this state but has not come into fruition. Im sure if we put it to parliament that if we lose our license for 3 months, then that is 3 months where they are not making money from fines of us. they would probably then change the legislation. Greedy wankers When i recently got done the cop told me how many points i had left (2) then handed me a 3 demerit point fine with a smile. It saddens me that these type of cops must have no social life or enjoyments in life that they must act like this.

only problem being that I coudlnt get the 80watt globe anywhere. Had to replace both globes with the aus standard of 55watt.

Yep. Its the globe. Can these be bought anywhere like Marlows etc for the skyline? If not, where?

my left headlight has suddenly stopped working. High beam still works on the left side but not the normal beam. Any suggestions? Does this sound like a fuse or a globe? ...must be the power from the new exhaust (hahahhhhh) Thanks people

Well, once I pay my recently recieved fine that is my licence gone. Can hold this out for 2 months though and hopefully work something out in the meantime. I need my license badly for work

Hi Paul, Any demand for stock exhaust systems yet? Will be keeping my old exhaust just in case I can sell it. I cant beleive the power diff that the new exhaust system has achieved. Very happy with the outcome. Will hopefully see u on that dyno day that is being discussed.

I have heard now from a couple of people that there is a driving course that can be undertaken to regain 2 points. Has anyone here heard of this and if so, do u know any contact details.

I have finally got my full 3" exhaust system. Sounds good, goes extremly good. Have noticed a huge difference. If anyone has not done their exhaust from the turbo back u r kidding urself. Waste of a thread you say...I think not. Had to tell u people. I am very happy with the price and the work of the job. Thanks rev210 for the refferal (Quick Fit Morley) and I now too will recommend this exhaust shop. On a bad note, cops are freakin everywhere lately and have been pulled over a shitload recently. Licence is hanging on edge. Be careful people.

what is the cost of installing one of these S-AFC or can it be done at home (not likely heh)?

So it will be alright getting the exhaust done without the SAFC although one would obviously be beneficial? I have only seen the APEXI SAFC II's that seem to sell for $500-700. Are there any cheaper SAFC to choose from and what are the costs associated with installing one of these. Also, once I get the exhaust, would it be beneficial to get a dyno tune or just resest the ECU
