Early rs skylines had the metal bumpers and three bar grill,late ones had the "mask" .Id say the front ends been changed sometime in its life.Only late aus models and hr30s had that frnt end. Got some pics of the front chassis rails? actually after a second look it has the aussie grill and late dr bumper everything else looks right for a early model(pre 83)though the panel gaps are a worry

Hi ghostrider,Im sure nobody on this forum will find out if judy is a true blonde except ME!! Judy wasnt trying too fan the flames ,she only congratulated cazz as she had the guts too stand up for what she believed. Ive read your past posts on this forum and you do tend to come over a tadd opininated with out actually thinking about what reaction people will have from what you have posted. In other words you can word things a little bit less confronting but still get your message across. Pm's cant be seen by other forum users, we only see whats posted, thats why I dont respond to them Unless Its nothing to do with a thread. Who cares if its not real, imho i dont care if its a 280c with with a fibreglass body its a car I'd like to own and I'd love to have the opportunity to race something like that too. I saw a car very similar to this at a event at eastern ck about 6-7 years ago,when Iworked at a parts place.I was taking him an accelerator return spring as his had broken. It had the right colours and looked like the real deal.it was owned by a friend of my boss that also owned a group 2e 240z. The owner told me a few of the things that had been changed on the car since it was raced at bathurst and one of the major differences was a rack and pinion conversion. Its all a bit hazy now but I didnt ask to see the log books or stand there arguing the point,Ijust thought good on him for perservering with the good old fj20 and wished him well for the future. I also saw a certain z18t blubird that looked like the one george raced at a workshop in sydneys west last year when I was gettin a problem sorted with my s12.I asked them "if it was the real deal" as they pushed it out of the workshop ,simple straight answer was yes and that was good enuff for me!I grabbed a disposable camera and proceded to take a few pics but after seeing this thread i dont they'll be posted here! I think theyre the same though there is a dark tint and a light tint.The guy on ebay doesnt even know what they are as it says dr30 gts

ebay Saw these on ebay and thought they might be better deserved to somewhere here as I've already got a set. I'd be really pissed if they went for 70 bucks as mine cost $200.00 three years ago.

rb30 injectors are the same ,so a vl or r31 injector will do it.you can buy em new at any parts place.The plastic mount is different though and they dont come with the injector so youll have to search the wreckers for a r30 mount.

Its a speed cut, mine doesnt go past 210kmh.Its pretty savage you lose all power until the speed drops a bit,scared the crap outta me when i was racin a new falcon gt a few years back.Only did it once though I dont do 210 everywhere I go.

The speed sensor is in the speedo ,ask stewart wilkins motorsport about it. My fj20et was running like a dog and no one could fix it,after stewart wilkins spent the morning sussing things out he came to the conclusion that it was the speed sensor malfunctioning. He played with a few wires going to the ecu and it totally transfomed the car, its never ran better!!!

Speaking of badges my old c210 had a skyline insignia underneath the datsun badge on the back.Though it left three holes when it was removed,I just filled them with plastic filler and touched it up with a dab of chrome paint.

I had to change the rear studs in mine(same as r30)I bought long studs through nice products in sydney(I work at repco)They were too long but the old hacksaw fixed that. http://www.niceproducts.com.au/ Also found out today that beaurepaires sell the bolt on spacers
