spotted a pink/purple r32 on king georges rd going north at about penturst, a white R32 GTR near GFS on box rd, sylvania. both of them yesterday. i see a few others hear and there. also got a wave from a soarer going down box rd, sylvania, was too slow to give him a wave back. neva get a chance to wave coz im usually in lala land by the time they go by....lol

thanks heaps for ur help salad. after alot of searching on information about diffs and such, im having second thoughts about getting a brand new diff centre as it seems like a fair bit of dough for me to spend where i could put it elsewhere to the car. ima have a think about it a bit more and see where ill go from there Stephen

hhmmmm... so there isnt much difference in prices between a new and second hand mech diff. i think i mite go the brand new one unless i can find a cheap second mech diff, coz its not that much difference and as u said i would have piece of mind. where can i get a kaaz for 1050 delivered? places ive checked are usually around the 1200 mark? thanks Stephen

Hey, after going down to WSID one nite in my R32 GTS-T , i noticed there was a loud whine coming from my diff. i went to my mechanic and he told me it was my diff bearings. now my problems comes here, he told me that i could get new bearings put it in or i could get a second hand diff and put it in. ok, now im looking at getting into track work, drift and circuit, i was wondering if getting a centre would fix my problem or do i have to replace the whole thing? i was looking at getting an LSD either 1.5 way or 2 way, not really fussed whicheva comes my way and ive read up on the types and dont mind either at all, is there much of a problem buying a second hand mech diff or would i be better off buying a brand new one? i dont want to spend too much on it but if i need to i will. ive looked at shimming it up or locking it but it doesnt appeal to me much and would rather go the right way about it. are there any other options? any help would be appreciated Thanks Stephen

ive got a mongoose M80s which is the 2nd highest i think. its seems like a good alarm system. the only problem i have with it is the auto immobilise after 30secs and there isnt any valet option or anything where i can turn it off that i can see.

i mite be going, just gotta see if i got the time will be the 2nd time if i go, first time being last year. should be good

always liked the look of them and seemed to have a little bit of everything. i originally wanted an R33 but ended up with late model r32 that had no mods and drove like a dream.

what about with the same amount of power ie 200rwkw but using an aftermarket turbo or high flow turbo maybe running about 16 psi max, would the walbro item still be sufficient. again on the rb20, reason i ask is that im in a similar situation as eXc.

sucked to end what started as a good nite like that. they should have been somewhere else, where ppl were actually disturbing the public. oh well nothing we can do now. funny how theres some times that there are far better places they could be yet they seem to be where trouble is least likely to happen. spotted a maroon 32 gtr aswell as a white 32 gtr along taren point rd tonight. and about 20 skylines along heathcote rd aswell.

i think the bug has bitten, im keen to get out there again but gotta hold it off until i get some money together for some tyres and clutch. also want to put my car on a dyno to see how much power im turning out. coz my trap speed seems to be quite low i thought, but it mite be normal. i dont mind dropping it at 5500rpm, and would love to, just that cant afford atm for the clutch to completely let go and undrivable coz its my daily driver, once i get that sorted ill be ready to attack strip again with much better results, hopefully.

had fun and it was cool to meet some new ppl. looking forward to the next cruise. and the pics turned out good.

i thought it could be my diff but its coming from around the gearbox, but im not 100% sure. ill try harder to hear where the noise is coming from 2nite. WSID is Western Sydney International Dragway.
