ben, what have you found to be the issue causing the whine? centre bearing? also on the topic of targa/circuit cars, whats the go with bolt in cages, im looking into this at the moment because the car will still be street registered. id prefer a weld in cage, so im thinking along the lines of having the side intrusions to bolt in and the rest of the cage welded in.

whats the typical price range for some MCAs out of curiousity.

ahhh fair enough, i think it probably has a lot to do with aftermarket tunability available atm for the X. from the guys i have talked to that seemed to be the general concensus that there wasnt a whole heaps of easy options to make it go faster. that didnt happen to be you in the black r34 gtr on saturday afternoon did it ben? i dropped by for a quick look probably around the last session of the afternoon and saw a black R34 gtr leaving around the time of the photos.

ben thats interesting, a few opinions that ive heard from evo owners is that the VIII/IX is the better "thing". not that i know anything about them, just out of curiousity, on what accounts do you think the X is better?

hey duncan, was wondering what type of adjustable bushes they are? and whether they are adjustable with the arms in the car. i ask because ive read that a few of the caster rod bushes require the arm to be taken off so im not sure if those manufacturers have designed the other bushes the same way. going bushes to stay compliant with general racing rules and regs.

quick question for you guys, do you do any calcs to determine the thickness and rigidity of the brakets? if you did, what method do you use to determine the brake forces and such? or is it based off experience?

just a thought that you might have looked at but havent mentioned. have u rebuilt the calipers by replacing the seals?
