    didnt want to start a new thread so ill ask the question here do u guys recommend using gasket goo or the similar for the exhaust manifold gasket/turbo-manifold gasket... etc?

    havent done any hillclimbs before but ill be keen to give it a try. yeah sucks that i couldnt make it but cant do much about it these days. will be missing a fair few in the next few months. im going to try make the 27th july hillclimb at huntley though.

    sounds like the wheels werent balanced properly.

    if it was a big end bearing, wouldnt u still hear the tapping when ur off the accelerator (ie decelerating) ? i would have thought there would be a constant tapping, either accelerating or decelerating? when u start it cold, have a light sniff around the exhaust manifold/turbo area, if it smells of fuel, i think its the exhaust manifold gasket. for me it explains most things, but doesnt explain the idle.

    missed out chubbs, had heaps of tracktime yesterday i thought, 7 sessions in total i had was great. i was onli expecting about 4 sessions.

    roy, im interested to know what u mean by this, are u talking about the positions of the inlet and outlet being at the bottom of the cooler as opposed to the top of the cooler? and how does the cooler get damaged?

    instead of starting a new topic, i thought id ask here aswell more generally.... can u use say any nissan PFC on the rb20 assuming u wire it up correctly if u dont have the plug and play loom?

    there should be a spring in that hole... and the end connects to a that actuator on the left.
