sh!t .. cheers satanic for that ill have to get onto them bout that.. oh well i guess this one wasnt as cheap as the spark plugs.. lol

in answer to ur question.. if the blue was painted red.. then IN theory it would go faster.. if u live by the (red cars go faster rule) nah the blue ones are the strong belts recommended for high horsepower.. or high stress situations thats all

http://i14.ebayimg.com/04/i/07/c9/25/1b_1.JPG ^^ the one shown above, i can get it for all RB series motors for a place up the road that gives me a really good price.. $125each... ive actually seen these things in repco for $230.. i couldnt beleive it so yeah newayz.. if u need a timing belt and cant get one this gooda quality this cheap.. let me know ill help you out, stay posted as i try and find whatever else i can get for cheap cheap =) oh also original nissan parts i can get cheaper than rrp.. which in a case of my $1800 sunroof it was $1400 =O

im not too sure buddy i could check tho... i just opened the NGK book at work one day while the rep was in and it gave a number for the iridium option and he gave me a price... so im not even too sure if there are a few options in the iridium range.. ill have another check for you in the ngk book tomorow at lunch
-
well some of us can get those prices already.. but for any body who cant.. feel free to gimme a bell or a pm.. thanks
-
i dont see how much beta hks spark plugs could be compared to NGK's best spark plugs.. splitfire coilpacks mite make a difference but as for paying a premium price only for spark plugs its probly a waste of time unless ur having major misfire issues isnt it?.. and even then u could get a hks twin amp thing to boost ur coilpack outputs?.. meh i dunno thats my 2 cents

im a small engine mechanic and i work at a small engine repair shop... and all we use is ngk.. considering theres about 30 odd workshops around WA.. and they all use the same supplier using ngk plugs, can you imagine the buying power / discount rate they would have?.. they are definetly for the skyline, BCP5 something something IE-11 .. basically what ever plug you want i can get i dunno bout the rotarys but ur probly looking at around $15 max each plug, receipts can be available but your just making it hard for me.. so thats my secret, im getting pritty much cost price plugs from our supplier.. they are definetly the skyline model plugs if you have any doubt.. i looked it up right in front of the rep and he rang thru the HO for a price.. =)
-
im guessing my price isnt cheap then??... would be good to recieve feedback, thanks
-
i can get NGK iridium spark plugs for $13.5 each.. which is a total of $81 to kit ur RB series engine.. is this cheap?.. cos if so i can get as many as anyone can possibly order, i happen to think its quite cheap cos i rang another auto shop up and asked for trade and they told me $21 EACH plug .. ouch! well if this is a cheap price let me know cos id be willing to start ordering these from work to start helping fellow skyline owners keep money in ur pocket.. cos i know how it feels to be outta pocket when tryna modify ur baby

dude the stock RB20det hits boost quite qwickly.. mine spools up and hits decent boost at around 2500rpm id say?.. them the revs jus climb rapidly from there.. i dunno im in perth and mine is stock cept for the front mount if u wanna compare? i think ur boost gauge might have a dude vacuum signal going to it.. maybe the line is pinched or something? i think the stock rb20det actuator is set at around 10psi from what ive heard so if the blow off valve spring is really weak they are going to make alot of racket.. my r2d2 does when i set it soft.. dunno, pm if uve got issues as i said im in perth and both me and my mate have stock r32's

um have you tried nissan? .. northside is usually the best for the import stuff

whys that but?.. wouldnt u get a more direct flow of air from the cooler, n produce like less lag n more responsiveness??.. one of those plenums off the engine jus looks like a big open space so u wouldnt think it would be harmful..
-
ive seen it done, people cut off there throttle body from pointin over the rocker cover and weld it sitting at the front like an SR20 .. just wondering if anyone has anything to say about this? has anyone done this and had bad or good results?.. looking for like a pro's/con's sorta thing here.. thanks michael.
-
the thickness of the cooler only really adds to lag unless u got mega horsepower, id say nething more than 75mm thickness is a waste for up to 20psi.. and yes a coola behind a bumper will not be as affective as a cooler with direct air flow... ie, is the reason u mite see ppl cutting up there stock bumper to expose more of the coola.. one thing i always thort but, wouldnt with beta flow ud achieve more horsepower?... like thru 3" at 15psi wouldnt the flow produce slightly more hp than the flow from 2.5" ??.. or does the 2.5" act in no way restrictive?
-
putting a hose on there with a hose clamp is fine for water, i did that for a gt28rs on a sr20 and it worked fine.. even double hose clamp it if makes u sleep better at nite enzed told me that u cant do it with oil but cos the pressure will come up under the hose clamp and make the hose slip off..
-
no worries thanks, cos i wana get it rebuild with steel wheels and being realistic i only want to force around 16psi.. i was just kinda debating on which turbo would make more power / spool qwicker and in the end result in being the better option .. i would of thort the hks bigger intake would of made some difference?
-
bump??..
-
does anyone know the specs for the hks 25/30 and rb25neo turbo ??.. ive got a neo rb25 turbo and i was wondering if it would be feseble to highflow it to similiar specs?.. or how close they are stock.. thanks
-
could be leaking injector seals.. they always piss fuel when there stuffed..

mite take u bought half a day.. ur gunna need a 27mm socket and breaker bar (as u mite need to use heavy force on the bolt which may break a rachet).. take out ur radiator, radiator pipes, take off all ur belts, then ur timing belt covers and so on.. now.. to get the harmonic balancer off.. its probly best to use a nylon hammer or rubber mallet and hit the harmonic balancer (bottom pully) a couple hard times side to side.. till it becomes loose and can either be pulled off or falls off... or use a purpose built puller.. newayz place motor on TDC and remove timing belt, then the water pump.. it should only be held in buy a couple of little bolts..replace water pump with working pump and i personally would put silicon on both sides of the gasket.. to prevent doing all this work again.. replace all parts and put shit back together.. if u know how shit goes then it shouldnt take u long.. it jus looks like a big job cos u gotta take out quite alot of stuff... thats my imput newayz... good luck!!
