It'd Be nice to know what they said, but it seems like there's an entire year missing from this thread, coz i have a couple of questions about its authenticity myself, eveything about it is an Autech, but then its things like it says its a 1996 on the compliance plate and is registered as a 96 car (was sold as a 99 but I didnt find that out till I'd received the car and the guy buggered off over seas) what is the sure fire way of telling its real, coz for the bits that r in this thing it seems like a massive amount of time and money to make a fake, im sorry if this is off topic its just been something that been on my mind for a year now cheers for any help

Just recently bought a 260RS Stagea (stock as a rock) and went on to Ebay to grab some Apexi pod filters, told the guy the model and got them a couple of days later, went to go put them in and they dont fit and when I asked to exchange them for different ones he pretty much told too bad u get what your given they're the right ones. what this question really is, does the GTR have the same air flow meters as the 260RS and if anyone has got apexi's for there Stagea what model were they coz the ones he gave me were 500-A024. thanks for any help u can give me Cheers James.

Thanks for all your help guys and yes it was the pipeing. just on the inlet side of the intercooler the clamp had split and the silcon had a nice tear down the middle (cheep kit you get what u pay for). So thanks again guys James

Yesterday I was about 100kms out of sydney and couldn't wait to get home coz I was as sick as dog from a stomach bug. it was pouring down rain and freezing when the R32 (gtst) which had been running without a hic up just started to cough and splutter and I came to a stop by the side of the road. here are the symptoms Idles very rough if at all, revs no more than 4.000 RPM loads of black smoke. one small thing i did notice is that although i could hear the turbo spooling I couldn't get it to boost, (stuffed turbo maybe) checked all hoses and pluges and everything is fine. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks heaps James.

A few quick questions guys, I have a R32 GTS-T and Im thinking of upgrading my turbo the problem i have is the car cant come off the road during the week (coz I use it for work) i was thinking of buying an old T3 and getting it high flowed and stuff but just checked out GCG and they want nearly $2000 does this seem a bit much just for some new bearings and wheels there must be $2 worth of steel there!, anyway so any thoughts on whether its better to go new or high flowed (and on a budget) also if there's any straight bolt on aftermaket turbo's and finally are external waste gates much better than internal, coz I've already got a dump pipe with a big long screamer and I dont want to part with it unless the gains are good Thanks for any help. There's been lots of people talking about getting really bad fuel econemy me being one of them for me I knew it had to be my O2 sensor coz it was stuffed all the wires were melted. I'm not saying this is the same problem that everyone with bad fuel ecomemy has but i'll get to the point when i went to nissan they wanted $230 for an O2 sensor (RB20det) so I went looking and found this guy on ebay enginesensorsandsystems they were only $50 (universal) I was a bit worried about putting a universal one in my car but the price was right so i gave it a go, now the car runs perfect no ruff idle better fuel ecomony.

dont know about the noises but I'd check the O'2 sensor my car started to idle a little funny and start drinking LOTS of fuel (250km a tank!!). checked out the engine bay and the wires to the O'2 sensor were all melted. But its a problem u wanna find and fix fast coz evey time u drive that car its a lot of money down the drain.

anyone up for a group buy then?

does anyone know where to get a power FC for a R32 GTS-T for a decent price most places I've looked at are around $1600 thats $600 more than the RB25 and 26 if anyone has a second hand one or knows where to get a new one cheap could u please let me konw thanks heaps James.
