It has the same plugs as the stock headlight loom and inside the headlights are normal globes not HIDs It used to be powering my headlights but I've now removed it and running on the stock loom again I think my main question is; Why would someone put in aftermarket headlight electrics when the stock ones work fine?

So I've got this little box that I knew was there, but haven't bothered with until now. It came with the car. Its hooked up directly to my headlights, replacing the factory plugs, and it uses one of the factory plugs to know when to switch on/off. I put the factory plugs back into the headlights and everything works fine. So obviously it's not there to replace stuffed factory headlight electricals. I've since removed it and all 100ft of loom that came with it, but wondering why someone would have put it in in the first place?

I respect your decision to give in at this point but I really wish someone would go all the way, and prove them wrong for once. It seems they can just postpone and postpone and keep throwing offers at you depending on how good your case is. Sounds like that crappy tv show 'deal or no deal'

ok cool, and is nissan the best/only place to get them? oh and use locktite on all the bolts? (sorry, not too familiar with all the basics )

How do you get at the bolts on the bottom row in this pic? Some sort of swivel ratchet? I cant get at them to undo em

Is there supposed to be a gasket between the upper and lower part of the plenum? Also with the gaskets between the head and the lower part, and the one on the throttle body, do I need to put any gasket goo onto them or do I just wack 'em on and bolt it up?

Could be fuel squirting out under pressure?

I was out for a 'spirited drive' the other night and I pulled over for 5min to have a chat wiith some other people. I came back to my car and it was off. Tried to start it and it cranked over but didnt start. Turned the key off and waited 10sec then tried again and it fired up like normal. I thought it might just have been because i was parked on an incline of a hill. When we left I took off down the road and the car died again.. It was like I just turned the key off. I tried to crank it over a few times and it wouldnt fire. I noticed the fuel pump wasnt priming up when turning the car to ON. long story short we reset the ECU which didnt help. check the fuses.. all fine, gave the relays in the engine bay a few flicks and jump started the car (went flat from trying to crank over) The car started and i managed to make it home (30min drive). Now the car had been tuned 2 days prior and nothing went wrong there. The pumps a walbro also Has anyone had any similar experiences? I did some search and came across that the fuel pump relay is actually in the boot which rules out me thinking flicking the relays may have fixed it Do fuel pumps just die and come back to life like that? Or could this be more of a relay problem?

My 33 turbo died on the weekend. The wheel has come off and is floating around in my exhaust somewhere I was running 1bar through it (not sure how long the previous owner had run it at that)

On the way home from work I gave the car a quick squirt down my road and I heard the injector start ticking. Popped the bonnet and there was a shitload of fuel around #3 injector. Almost dripping out. I've stopped driving the car untill I get it fixed now

Judging from the amount of fuel that seems to be leaking from the injectors I wouldnt put it down to them alone for getting ~250ks to a tank But hey, I'll see how things go once they're not leaking anymore. Could be just that (hopefully)

Cheers for the responses guys Instead of GTR injectors im going to pull them out and get them cleaned + new O-rings. Also going to check out my O2 sensor as my fuel economy is rubbish!
