  1. Seems silly that even in the new one they dont include bluray? The only real benefit I see is wireless internet..
  2. Yeah I saw that, I didnt really have any interest in those other games though..
  3. Not sure if anyone will care, but JB Hifi have a 360 elite pack including Halo 3 ODST and Forza Motorsport 3 out for $249!! Pretty sweet deal if you ask me! I bought one
  4. I have to admit that I havent played with the settings, theyre both on hardest.. BUT I have king springs and standard shocks which are both fairly soft. In theory this keeps the car sitting flat while still being as grippy as a car with softer settings, and on my car I think I've hit a fairly good combination. My friend who drove it reckons it handles like a cat on carpet haha. If you already have fully hektic coilovers/ you might be in a different position to me
  5. Well clearly because you said so! 2 VIC Ryan Quinn Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-t - OBEHVE Nissan RB25 CP 10.12 136.30 This guy is running 10's on street tyres, so I ask again, why is traction such a big issue?
  6. Why is traction such a big issue? Get some better tyres! I have a 33, and in reality its very quiet and comfortable except for the exhaust.. change your suspension maybe? WRX hasn't got that X factor for me, it just looks like a shitbox with a body kit stuck on it. Maybe thats because thats what it is! My opinion anyway, if a WRX sticks its hands down your trousers and squeezes then go for it.
  7. I have 27mm and 24mm, doesnt feel too big to me, and like I said, theyre adjustable so if its too firm back it off
  8. Not sure mate, I have the adjustable ones from Whiteline (Which I think are the largest anyways). They have it set as hard as it goes on both sides and honestly to me it feels pretty good! Maybe on real rough corners it bounces a little too much but thats easily fixed by putting it on a lower setting. Harey: Dont know about you but when powering out of a corner the back end just feels glued now, rather than that slightly dodgy leaning/twisting sensation I used to get. When you fit the front one you will definately notice it will feel a lot more responsive and resistant to understeer.
  9. Just fitted whiteline adjustable swaybars front and rear to my car.. and I've got to say, bang for buck they are absolutely the BEST thing I have done to my car. It just feels so much tighter, so much more planted, and best of all has had very little effect on the ride quality of the car. I would recommend doing them before adding big power mods to your car, it lets the sports car hidden behind soft springs and skinny swaybars shine through Anyways I'm done ranting.. but if havent got swaybars you are missing out!
  10. My Skyline does 0-100 in negative 5 seconds, explodes xr6 turbos and makes all nearby dogs run backwards due to the time-space continuum being disturbed.
  11. A lot of people hang shit on 33 sedans without realising that in reality you get more car for less money. I reckon they can look good too, mine was by no means a minger. This is my old car: And this is what happens when navaras hit them at 60k's Yes, I realise I now own the same car but in coupe form
  12. http://www.xtremeclutch.com.au/ I'd go these guys, such a pleasure to deal with and offer similiar quality to exedy at cheaper prices
  13. Well I reckon you're being a bit sensationalist... In these days of increasing technological complexity its fairly easy to get some settings wrong and ruin everything. Even in a $150k supercar. All I'm saying is give the guy a chance to help you before you go around telling everyone that his product is rubbish! But whatevs, you'll work it out. Now see I wouldnt fill the car with canola oil because after having read the label I'd be able to see that its not for cars
  14. Mate, do us all a favour and deal with the maker of the product directly instead of badmouthing their product on a public forum? Companies like these trade on reputation and it would be a shame to cause trouble for him if the fault is not theirs
  15. -1 for Coventrys, I work there haha. We only have panels for holden and ford
  16. Did you read what I wrote buddy? That might give you some answers.
  17. Hey guys theres this new site with images and everything!! www.google.com.au There are subtle differences though between series 1 and 2 Series 1 has a plastic piece of crap which you take out and flip to hold up smaller diameter drinks eg red bull Series 2 has a metal clip which folds down and locks into place for smaller diameter drinks I actually reckon its the best cup holder I've seen in a car, holds normal cans, small cans and also choc milk hehe I've never seen a 33 without one though, weird that some of you dont have it!! But back to the original topic, 33 is the best all rounder in terms of price, performance and age/kms
  18. Dogs are better for drift because they are rear wheel drive and have better weight distribution than horses which are all wheel drive and have a high centre of gravity.
  19. Well yes, except in the real world it cost me 6k.. what are you on about?
  20. Haha almost. 3k on HKS GT-RS turbo kit (sneaky sneaky ) ~1k on new front pipe, stock inlet manifold, 380cc sidefeed injectors, throttle body, injector loom, intercooler pipes and exhaust manifold ~2k on labour to remove everything and refit everything Engine bay was like this: And is now like this:
  21. Er, my bad.. 58 in a 50 zone.. Technically all my fault but still annoying! Yeah I know.. I will make SOME money back selling all the gear that was on the car, but you're right the whole system is completely stupid. I got penalised for having tyres that were too wide at the rear by 10mm.. so as a result I put stock ones back on to get over the pits, then revert to wider tyres anyway! Not to mention watching the hideous pieces of junk they let through with no questions asked!
  22. Well, went over today and finally passed 6k of parts and labour later.. Was dodgy as because my reverse lights only work if I hold the gear lever slightly to the left All the positive of the day was ruined by getting a speeding fine for 58 in a 60 zone.. the boys in blue are in my bad books at the moment :
  23. If time taken to rev wasnt a factor, then I am speaking the truth. Gear has no relevance to the power produced by the engine . On the street driving is a different story. That's what he's saying... I'm guessing you have one?
  24. I didnt really like my KKR480, so I'm getting a GT-RS put on on Wednesday.. should provide a pretty healthy top end kick with minimal lag! Edit: Sorry for hijacking the thread, looks like a pretty sweet turbo
