Twin turbo the hayabusa.. I've read about a guy with one that has 500rwhp He says when the wheel is spinning he feels safe, cos when it grips he shits himself!! My mates dad has one slightly modded to about 190hp, he doesnt want any more power because at any speed full throttle results in instant wheelies. Also 9 second quarter miles..

I have an auto one. Its a good car!! Looks hawt with rims and a bit of lowering! But manual ftw im doing a conversion because they are too hard to sell.

I've seen that car, he came to my work and bought some parts. I saw the sticker on his windshield saying "Ovaboost" and I was thinking wtf its a commonwhore.. Then he popped the bonnet and theres a turbo bigger than my head strapped to the side of it . He reckons when he got it done the standard auto lasted as far as him driving away from the workshop and planting it for the first time ahaha. Car looked like a bit of a POS though, but a V6 wagon that runs 12s is a pretty impressive achievement

33's are good cars for sure. Be prepared to splurge on fuel if you like to drive fast though!

Ok, so I removed it, but now my central locking doesnt work!! Apparently it controls that too because when I plug it in all the doors lock again.. Anyone know which wire controls the reverse beeper? I like central locking!

Where is it? I can hear it but I cant see it would I have to pull the dash apart to get to it?

Well anyone with an auto skyline will know how friggen annoying it is to put your car in reverse and have the beeper come on like you're driving a truck. I mean, surely japs arent that dumb not to know when their car is in reverse? Anyway, anyone know how I can disconnect the reverse connection to the beeper? I want to leave the unit connected if i can, as i like the fact that the car beeps to let me know if I leave my lights on etc PS I didnt know whether to put this in this section or general.. but mods feel free to move.

I got mine from coventrys.. cost me like 6 bucks for 3 packets of different sizes.. but i work there so i get em a bit cheaper. Anyway it works good for now but I'd definately recommend getting it welded up as soon as you can.. water tends to sit under the grommets and im sure that it cant be real good for the sheet metal!

I was just looking at this too.. As a side point to Sir-D's question, is it worth spending a hundred or so more dollars for a HKS or trust item? Considering things like flow, how long it would take to rust etc etc..

Yeah.. maybe its not worth the hassle.. I would be pissed if I put it in and the thing blew not long after installation. Just an idea

Thanks Munna1 yeah I understand that its torque that kills em.. I've heard of people using them for VL turbos, with varying success. What would an average 250rwhp car be putting out in terms of torque? Keep in mind this is probably running stock turbo or a highflow item. So it would bolt up, but require a custom driveshaft? Anyone running big torque/power through a RB20 box?

Gday, well Im doing to do a transmission swap in my turbo auto R33 because auto is teh sucks for throttle control. Seeing as RB25 gearboxes are going for 1500 plus lately I was considering using an RB20 box. I was wondering if this was possible, ie a straight bolt in or would I have to stuff around to make it fit? Keep in mind I'm not building a power monster, ie im only aiming for 250-300rwhp MAX once I'm done with the car. I'm building it for response, not for massive straight line go. Im just not sure if the RB20 box would cope with the increased torque. Also, I'm very sympathetic to my drivetrain, there will be no flatshifting or 7k launches etc.

Yes.. buy a 4-door Skyrine.. Mine only has rims and its still sexy!! Way more useable performance on the street.. no dead lag zone like the rexxies!!
