  1. I can understand. When I had my standard 205's on they would spin in the wet like they were made of vaseline. In the auto, if you floored it and made it kick down in the wet the back end would slew sideways depending on the camber of the road. Very scary even when it was on purpose. If you floored it round the corner in the wet, you'd be looking forward through the passenger window faster than you could blink!
  2. I can relate to that.. I was driving my mates manual VS Commonwhore in the wet around a roundabout with a full carload of people.. The car had $400 tyres on each corner.. I was doing about 30km/h, gave the accelerator the gentlest nudge as I was leaving the turn, and suddenly I'm at a 45 degree angle heading straight for a right angled curb!! I backed off and after fishtailing a bit I reeled it back in.. But it scared the absolute shit out of me!! No warning whatsoever!! Compare that to another mates VT, when he plants it around a corner the inside wheel lights up and the rear end of the car barely moves at all! Really sorry to hear about your car man, but at the end of the day you should both be thankful that you werent hurt!! You can wreck the car, regain some cash and your girlfriend seems to be willing to help you out. You'd be surprised how quickly you can accomplish things when you set your mind to it so don't be too down hearted!!
  3. It engages the rocket boosters!!
  4. On mine the revs sometimes drop to like 400 on take off.. but it always brings itself back up, ive never had any troubles as of yet anyway!!
  5. You're all missing the point. ITS A SMART BEATING A FERRARRI IN A DRAG!! Its funny, thats all.
  6. Mine was fun, bought it from a oldish man!! He told me to give it shit when I drove off because he was going to miss it so much. Cruising along, drove past a couple of very nice ladies who both turned to stare as I went past. "This is where it's at" I was thinking
  7. That car looks so well set up!! Beautiful to watch as the grip lets go and the driver handles it so good!
  8. Yeah me either.. Apart from when I drive off the doors lock if I'm doing over 25 kays.. Were you by any chance diving out of your car while it was moving?
  9. Thanks for your suggestions, you are all probably right. The hacksaw will look dodgy. No fmic.. yet!! I might pull it off on Sunday and have a gander.. In other news, my rear spoiler got the chop today, its goin in soon to go in soon to get welded up and painted!!
  10. On mine all 4 light up brighter when I brake, which I think is how its meant to be!
  11. Righto, here's my R33 4-door. I dont really like the differences between the coupe front bar, so I'm thinking of doing a little modifying. Tell me what you reckon... Also, any recommendations or precautions when doing this?
  12. Check your boot for stowaways!! Seriously, I have no idea, I'll just shut up now!
  13. My S2 R33 auto did a 15.0 according to my mates G-meter thingy. Thats with full running gear including sub in the boot, plus I forgot to turn the aircon off The only mod I have is a pod filter!
  14. Hehe.. there will be no outrunning them
  15. No theyre different
  16. Its jealosy pure and simple. These f*cks can't handle that we have nice cars. I was driving home from the pub in Subiaco (I was designated driver before you ask) and pulled up at the lights at a t junction next to a P plater. As he drove off his passenger ditched an egg at my car. I've hardly ever been more angry in my life, I was going to follow them and hunt them down but it took my girlfriend of the times constant calming remarks and lots of attention in the bedroom to calm me down. Sorry to hear about it dude, hope its not too bad.
  17. Looks hawt. How much did u pay for the front bar?
  18. I'm also interested in this because I have an auto 4-door. I was planning to sell, but I'll lose money and I love the car. So basically for a tranny swap you'd need RB25 gearbox Pedal Box Interior stuff (gearstick and plastic cover thing) And labour would inlude fitting and recalibrating the speedo. Right???
  19. Its for your radio antenna. One position makes it go halfway up, and the other makes it go the full way up. Also, the rear wiper switch is on the left stalk, its a twisty knob thing.
  20. http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/s...e/1996_1/21674/ 'S all here
  21. 2rismo, I have a funny feeling you're the guy who had his car featured in HPI. Am I right?
