  1. I *think* 178cm.. Pretty skinny heh. How long did 5kg take?
  2. New weight = 67.7kg Bought a squat rack.. it's great but it hurts me haha Lifting bigger, eating bigger.. let's see if I can keep this up
  3. Yeah the 680's look pretty good, but the pricing is farked here. I'd say retailers are jacking prices knowing that people will pay it..
  4. Yeah I only have a half-serve of protein shake in the afternoon.. Half before the workout and half after. The diet is flexible but that's the gist of it, obviously I replace some things with comparable foods.
  5. Haha hold the sand dude, wasn't really directed at you Thanks, that's more the type of advice I was looking for. Yeah, looks like my routine wasn't the best. Probably the case of me unconsciously playing to my strengths rather than attacking the weaknesses. Also trying to behave myself on the weekend.. I tend to stay up late, sleep in (missing meals), as well as having a few too many beers.. But that's gotta change. I'll start the new routine next week, I've had a week off because I was feeling pretty uninspired. As far as diet goes I've been eating: Protein Shake Bowl of muesli 2 pieces toast Up 'n Go Banana 2 x chicken/salad rolls 1 piece fruit Protein shake Muesli bar Stir fry with noodles Milo snack yoghurt thing Protein shake before bed.
  6. I didn't come here to get shouted at and told I'm a useless excuse making so-and-so.. I came here asking for advice. I admitted that my problem was weekends. Thanks for the advice, go chuck sand up your arse for the attitude that came with it.
  7. I wouldn't call myself a beginner, but then again I haven't made as much progress as I'd like. It is hard as I'm a skinny bloke, I don't gain as easily as some. The truth of the matter though is I probably let myself go a bit too much on the weekend with bad eating/drinking/sleeping habits, which then carry their own consequences forward for the rest of the week.
  8. OK, based on the advice you guys have given me it seems my workout isn't the best, so I'm trying to come up with another program. What about this one? Ryan Hughes Muscle Building Program Ignoring all the supplement advertising etc, it still appeals to me because its *mostly* free weights which I can do from home. However I am getting a chin up bar and possibly a squat rack next week. Is it also true that you should only work one muscle group once a week? E.g. the above workout is split into 5 sections, each focusing on one section of the body (chest, legs, shoulders, arms back). Would love to know if there's any truth in that..
  9. ..and one more GTX560
  10. Apparently you have to play multiplayer to get the best ending. Mass Effect 3 War Assets and Readiness: how multiplayer affects your ending
  11. I'll be on shooting people in the face tonight if anyone's keen
  12. Just got this off cdkeysdirect for ~ $38 Origin is really much better than I ever expected, super fast D/L speeds
  13. Fair enough.. Probably should have mentioned I do this all from home, I'm only using a bench press and free weights so there's nowhere to do lat pull downs etc. Probably should get one of those door mounted things..
  14. I'd be interested to see what you guys think of my current routine/ how I'm doing. In terms of the bigger lifts I'm a 65kg guy and I'm doing: 55kg bench 75kg deadlifts 60kg squats (these are dumbbell squats, I don't have a squat rack )
  15. The demo can be found on origin under 'free games' I played it, it's fun. Will buy. I've also been inspired to finally finish ME2 haha.
  16. Anyone have this? I got it last week and it's the most fun ive had in an RPG for a long time, Skyrim included! The combat is so much more fluid and has much more depth. I do recommend using a controller though rather than keyboard/mouse. The story can be a bit stupid sometimes but the game play is great, I thoroughly recommend it
  17. Seems a bit contrived? Most of those guys didn't even shoot back. Could happen I guess!
  18. Just got one of these: SteelSeries Sensei: It has an ARM CPU inside it with about the same processing power as the original Pentium! Hahah! The difference it's made to my accuracy is stunning, it tracks so much smoother and feels so much more responsive. You have to remember to turn the sensitivity waaay down in games or it's much too twitchy. Good investment, I recommend it
  19. Was fun shooting at y'all tonight
  20. OK, now I'm having serious drop out issues. Almost every f*cking game!! Is it just me? Not to mention the 'third time's the charm' joining of games where it reports that 'Something Went Wrong!' . No shit!! Hahah.
  21. Third time's the charm hey? Mine has NEVER overheated. A few of my friends have them, same story. Dunno why I'm saying it since the OP doesn't want a Mac, but anyways...
  22. If you can afford it, macs are the best laptops available. For serious gaming not so much, but they'll play most things fine at lower settings. All people who have not owned a mac laptop be silent from here on
  23. I love RPG'ing tower snipers, makes me chortle every time
  24. Key word is reliably. People might follow his advice and then get upset when it doesn't deliver. In saying that, I agree in that I'd be choosing a 2700K if I was in the same boat. Myself.. I'm interested to see what Ivy Bridge offers Why didn't they give the 2600K a proper graphics card though? It's like building a forged RB26 and putting stock turbos back on haha Good choice on the 580
  25. Hah.. unlucky to people that don't actually have Back to Karkand and still have to download it!
