Whilst WA still allows a radar detector (under the radio frequency law) to be used in that state, I'd like to ask 6 Qs Q1 Does this mean that the owner of the WA registered car has to remove the unit upon crossing the border? Q2 How does a Police Radar-Detector-Detector work? Q3 How accurate is a Radar-Detector-Detector in multi-lane traffic (if the Radar-Detector picks up a Radar and is immediately switched off)? Q4 If HP pulls you over and asks you to pop the bonnet, what if you don't know how to do that? Does the officer have the right to reach in? Q5 I've been told by a general duties officer that any police officer would have to have 'good cause' to look under the bonnet. What constitutes good cause? There's Police who are on SAU. Can they tell us? Q6 What if the handle to the bonnet has a bolt screwed in + lock attached + the key was somewhere at home?
