  1. As Nick and Terry have said, this is a great car at a great price - knowing that there's absolutely no rust. I saw an EVO VI at TSI for $23K and yours gurpi, is a much better deal > a bump from me as well as from Nick and Terry.
  2. Yes, Genelle is right - it's poop. Tree resin is sticky. Meguiar's "Ultimate Compound" gets it off; followed by waxing. Humbla knows - she has birds - lol
  3. OP already states in paragraph 1 that the PDS should be read anyway! Not only that, but understood. Training course info in my Shannons PDS is informative after looking at it again. Glad I checked...
  4. Afraid so... especially when it's rare than a GTHO Phase 3 like... Generally for a quality machine, like iwanta34gtr says, it's going to be mid 50s
  5. ^^^ just a dream he had. Black must be rare eh?
  6. Gold... You've got a mind.
  7. I'll do a bump for ya; but you should have bought Terry's B/Blue V-Spec II when it was on offer. There wasn't even a swirl mark anywhere on that car! And the upholstery was like new (reflecting low Kms I bet).
  8. This car is sooo sweet in the SAU Calendar this year. I'd like this in my garage.
  9. ...watching 'n waiting!
  10. I wouldn't be too quick to judge Mr Jane (Snr)
  11. Perhaps we should look each other up, if we criss-cross the waves? GT-R waiting at the other end? hehe Regards, Tom PS. Keep your car away from the salt > Go by mountain bike in the salted snow haha
  12. Love red > and the work you've put into it so far! Propellers next I believe?
  13. Has the car sustained a slight hit in the rear which has been repaired, but you can see via the wheel well? And is the central rear vision mirror missing a small cover? I know of a midnight purple one like this at Catherine Fields (with number plate formerly GTR33Z).
  14. Agreed ^^^ For a ballpark $ figure, go to panelbeaters X2 quotes for the fabrication work. Because Japan salts their snow covered roads, next time when you're buying a Skyline, get the VIN# checked on this forum first to see if the car has come from Hokkaido or N. Honshu if poss.
  15. Many Thanks!
  16. Yes, just like the Hawkesbury Gazette indicated, fog could have been a contributing factor. Having been past there before a few times, fog can just sit in that hollow from where he was coming out, and you wouldn't even see a big sucker like a 22-wheeler. You'd know, being a RAAFy. Sad. Nice guy?
  17. Injectors is one of several possibilities.
  18. EASY:- you can buy them from boat chandlers = boat and yachting equipment
  19. Sickening - hope insurance comes through OK !
  20. Saw one last week whilst up in Sydney - with normal plates too. Black! Wonder if an ex-pat brought it in?
  21. Welcome Soohan to SAU! Yes, checking the cars over thoroughly is very wise. The GT-R models are less likely to depreciate as much, if your budget allows.
  22. You like your AWDs don't you? Welcome to SAU. BTW, does Iceland salt their roads over there during snow storms? How's the Iceland economy recovering? Or is it not? I'd love to come to Reikjavik and look at the tectonic rifting!!!
  23. Can hardly believe that one of you organisers has yet to buy PI Mag #113 Best of The Best featuring your own outstanding event!!!!
  24. checking further, Guild Insurance will insure grey imports for chemist shop girls > physiotherapists > Drs 'n receptionists > vet secretaries ie health industry workers... bit more expansive than i thought... at least there's another option out there... Excess (@ $500) is less than Shannons/Just Car Still 'Agreed Value' sum insured Will insure at age 21 which is 9 yrs younger than Shannons Don't have to go to a repairer of their choice > just get 2X quotes oh yes, just checked policy again... they'll pay for 1 free windscreen/yr without having to pay Excess = not bad
