I had it mounted for me.Yeah they said they had to add more in to obviously account for the oil lines and so forth.I have checked it a couple of times and it reads a little bit higher than the full mark once it has settled and cooled.Thanks for the advice,I just wasn't quite sure.

Hey all,might be a stupid question,but I have just had an oil cooler mounted up to my RB26.Should the oil level read differently on the dip stick now I have more oil in there. i.e.once the engine has cooled and sat for a while?Did a search but nothing came of it.Cheers.

Hey gun32gtr.Had the same probs as you in ordering the turbs over xmas.Got them now and went with the -5 model.Getting them put on in feb.From what I have seen on this post they are an awesome choice for the road and can make in excess of 500rwhp.Plenty for my right foot.lol.Thanks for that info on your mods and power level pnblight.It gives me a good indication of what to expect.I will let ya know how I go anyway as my setup is nearly the same as yours.Good luck bro!

Hey cactu5.I rebuilt my RB26DETT(R32) only a year ago after it gave way(quite badly!).Did my research and was building for a reliable 350atw kw.I put forged pistons in and acl race bearings(big end and main).My crank was cactus so got a brand new R33 GTR crank for 1000.As for rods,I replaced the buggered one with a second hand one,had new bushes put in,balanced,prepped and all that good stuff.The standard rods are good for plenty of power but you must upgrade the rod bolts to ARP 2000 or L19(I think they are the new ones).The rod bolts are the weak link in the conrod.You should be able to get that done for around about 400-500.this is less than half the price of forged rods and these will easily handle the power you are after.Good luck!

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you GTR buffs could help me.When I accelarate in my GTR at full throttle and the revs climb over 5000rpm,a light in my dash flickers on momentarily then off when I back off.The light is on the right side under the standard tacho position.there are 4 warning lights located here and it is the one at the bottom left.It looks like a box with a pipe coming out of each end and squiggly lines coming off the top of it.I was told by a mate it is ignition problems but the car is running fine.Any ideas?I am worried it is something bad so any help would be great.Thanks guys.

Hey,the box in my 32GTR has seen better days.I only require a standard box due to the lack of km's i do and only want 300rwKw.Any one know of a gearbox place in brissie/springwood and is it worthwhile rebuilding one?how much in $?Thanks for ya help.

Hey guys/gals,the syncros in my box have gone.I have an R32 GTR and live in brissie.Been looking at the PPG syncro box which is about 4000.Don't really want a dog box due to the noise and expense.Any other options around that price tag?Any places that guys would recommend for fitting?
