  9. i agree with going for the nismo pump, includes everything for a direct swap, not just that pump that needs moding like bosch pumps, autoworx do them for $450 less 5% for members and they dont sound as noisy as the bosch pumps but that just my opinion sam
  10. happy birthday Dan you really are the man !!!!!!
  11. good point about it not retaining the red reflector but oh well, just about every other mod iv done to my car is illegal, i mean if the lights didnt light up red i wouldnt have done it but people can still clearly see the red light up so i dont mind lol
  12. oh yeh forgot about that part, i just went to repco, gave them my old bulbs and asked for red ones, grabbed two pairs of them at 4 bux a pair and all is good, i only sprayed a very light coat of vht night shade, so light you could see straight through it, however as soon as i put it back in the light assembly they appeared black because the inside of the light assembly is black, this means that light shows through nicely so i dont have to worry about the cops putting a clear thing of plastic would be a very good idea and as soon as i have time to do it i will, all in the cost to do this was vht night shade $20 red bulbs $8 $28 for r33 tail lights that are rare is pretty good i reckon lol
  13. some slightly better pics
  14. the flash on my camera keeps going of and making the reflectors in the tail lights shine in the photos
  15. the camera i have access to is totally garbage, hence the tail lights look shit in the photos but look 100 times better in real life
  16. yeh ill be popping in aswell to wish him luck, my dad was skeptical about buying anything that was an import, he talked to paul for 5 mins before coming to get me to choose 1 of 2 silver series 2's lol my dad wanted to buy an auto for me but Pauls kind words showed him that a manual would have been better (which i agree with ) any time i go there paul will answer any question i have about my car even if that meant missing out on his lunch
  17. id be keen for brake and clutch lines too
  18. well yous can use 80, thats fine, i used 200 and nothing melted, came apart nicely still havnt finished, im using some black sealant because when you put the light cover back on there a gap were the red lense used to be between the cover and the other section of the light, i will have to take some pictures tomorrow morning all the pics i take the flash on my camera totally f**ks it up cos its dodgy ill write up a proper diy thingy later aswell so far im happy with the results
  19. just got an email from Autoworx stating that Alistair (known as arkon on these forums but has since changed it to something else ) is know the new owner of Autoworx Imports on Wangara, which is known for importing fine examples of skylines and many more imports. Congratulations Alistair, you have 7 years of big shoes to fill but i know your up to it sam
  20. i will take some pics when i get home um i think i put the oven on 200 they were in there for no more than 4-5 mins after the oven had time to heat up will get back to everyone soon sam
  21. okay, well while working on my other car the other day, i parked my skyline outside in the rain, and the indicator under the two red lights filled with water, luckily nothing shorted out or anything like that but i decided to take the tail lights out and have a squizzy at them (aswell as empty the water 10 mins later the tail lights were in the oven softening up the glue and soon after they were apart, basically i think i can make my tail lights look very similar if not identical to the ones as pictured, in the picture you can see the red lenses have been removed from the lights, i did that and underneath is clear lights, now if i get sum thing like even vht nightshade spray and spray the inside of the lights under neath it would look very similar to the ones pictured a bit hard to explain but will report back and post pics in the next day or so sam
  22. iv just bought clear indicators and nismo el copy dials of this guy, we will see lol
  23. dam.... why couldnt they make engine plates for rb25
  24. well firstly welcome to the world of skylines and to the forum basically the next thing you should be doing is finishing off the exhaust, should reduce restriction and hopefully gain some hp there, im guessing after that you should be looking at a type piggyback ecu or depending on your budget a standalone system (good luck finding a power fc ) one main thing to remember on these forums is to use the search function, which you will find to answer a few of your questions. sam
