  1. Definitely, I've bought two of my race cars through that site, as well as selling another.
  2. Probably detected damage to the car from the off, it looked like he coped a couple of big bounces in the grass at the time.
  3. As they are in the active pit lane, the rules require them to wear the suits.
  4. My damn totally un motorsport interested sister in law decided that she had to have her youngest child's christening today, so I get to spend three + hours in the car driving there and back instead of watching the race.
  5. Holy small photo's Bec!
  6. The "friend" that Snr. wanted his son moved from was the sugardaddy that was plowing Jnr's fields in exchange for funding.
  7. No need, we have daylight savings here (iirc Sh@un, your located in Perth?) so it's still daylight till around 8:30 at that time of year.
  8. I wonder what will happen to GP2 (FB owns the series) and the WSR (mechachrome supplies the engines, FB owns Mecachrome) if the FIA will not allow FB to have anything to do with them?
  9. I might come down for a looksee, but will not be driving the carts as last time I was there I broke my ankle crashing a cart after I was "love tapped" into a corner...
  10. Where did you get the suction cup mounts from?
  11. About the same as a good condition R34.
  12. Nope, it's a Speads RS09, Meridian are the agents for them in Australia however.
  13. I've made some more room in my shed... I'm still waiting on a few parts to arrive before I can really make a start on the build, mainly been cleaning and preparing parts for the last week.
  14. The Renault engineer that manages Red Bull's engines states that Vettel has one fresh engine left in an interview on F1-Live
  15. Nope, sold that to pay for other toys.
  16. I'll be getting into the full on training once my knee is fully recovered, including the neck. The rear rotors are just as funky.
  17. Nope, it's a 08 Hayabusa motor. Club events first to learn the car, and then hopefully I'll come up to NSW and give Neil a run, or there might even be a national series again that the car can run in.
  18. Picking it up from Meridian Motorsport. Got it home and in the shed. Unpacking. Diffuser Front rotors Rims and wing supports Power.
  19. Another option is the Leatt brace, I know that Meridian Motorsport sells them, others probably do as well.
  20. I'm screwed then...
  21. As far as I am aware, if the helmet is compatible with the HANS system ie, the manufacturer makes the same model with the holes already in place, then for anything up to FIA level events it is legal to retrofit the posts by drilling as shown.
  22. Pure revenue raising, the figures that they use from last year showing a reduction on road deaths are flawed, as it does not take into account the decrease in road use at the same time due to the higher costs of fuel. Here's another tidbit that I heard today, the camera's on Eastlink where budgeted to raise $62.5million p/a, however, they have only raised just under $750,000, so there is a budgeted (yes, speed camera revenue has it's own revenue line in the state budget) lose from those camera's of $61.75million. These new camera's are budgeted to raise around $60million p/a, coincidence?
  23. Sounds better than this offer... That would do more damage to Aust/Indian relationship than any thugs could do here.
  24. As WOrp3D said about the pedestrians, it also looked like anyone who wanted to cross the road at that intersection would have had to make a detour away from the relative safety of the traffic island due to the amount of material left in place there.
  25. The issue with the one mentioned in the above article was that it blocked the line of sight out of the corner, as well as covering up the road signs, in these circumstances then it is proper to remove them. There have been others like that removed in my area, for exactly the same reason.
