Yep, made by MacLaren Electronics and Microsoft, a number of the teams have complained about it, as they are finding that the unit works in strange ways regarding sensors and the like. It is also shaped like a triangle with the points cut off (same case as the 07 MacLaren) and teams are finding it difficult to retrofit into the 07 chassis for testing.

I didn't think that the cost of upgrading to an 18" or 19" rim would have been as bad as that, considering that most teams discard/make in to test/transport use the rims after 4~5 rounds anyway. as they tend to crack after that sort of usage. Therefore they could start buying in stocks of a larger rim mid year and spread the costs over the year.

Simple, only give them points for the first 8 places (a la F1) and make a bigger gap between places.

As Russman said, avoid to DVD/HDD units and get a tape one. The G sensors in the DVD/HDD units are to sensitive, and will shut down the recording if you clip an apex or generate a G spike.

Not really, it's just that 888 allow V8TV to tap their radio transmissions, and they choose to broadcast those ones. If you are at the track and listen in to the other teams radios with a scanner, then you would find that CL's comments are very minor.
