  1. I though that I inferred it with Fisci getting dropped (i.e. his team mate has destroyed him) I think HK will go pretty well.
  2. My thoughts for the 007 season, Massa to beat Kimi hands down, he has the desire and correct mindset to get the Ferrari team behind him. Webber to wipe the floor (scoring a few podiums and a possible win at Monaco) with DC and shut up all of those whining poms who think that he doesn't deserve to be in F1. Williams to plummet further down the chain, and for Nico to not see out the season Fisichella to be dropped before the halfway point of the season, to be replaced by Nelson Piquet Jnr. Sebastian Bourdais to be placed in the STR car, and massively fail. Lews Hamilton to keep Alonso honest in the second Mercedes (buyout to be announced mid Feb), but reliability will still be an issue for them. Jenson Button to still think that he's the best thing since sliced bread, and James Allen to blow sunshine up his arse. Meanwhile Rubens while get the car to suit him and outscore JB. BMW may spring a suprise this year, I can see Kubica getting a podium or two, and he'll end Heidfeild's career. Takuma Sato will demolish Anthony Davidson, and score regular points finishes. James Allen to still be a massive tool on the broadcast.
  3. I'm moving house the week leading up to the event so I think that I'll be a little short on time to get everything done.
  4. Do you have a micrometer that can accurately measure the bolt? One thing that I have seen with seat bolts is the use of single use bolts, these bolts are designed to have a slight variance in there thread size so that when they are screwed into place they stay firmly located. It might be that you have bolts like these.
  5. Interesting that you found this, as the size of the bolts that are used is one of the standardised sized bolts in cars, they are usually the same no matter what brand of car it is. I'm not sure where you could get different sized eyebolts of the right rating from, other than trying the MS suppliers or places like "The Bolt Bloke"
  6. Bris, I have the cameras to do this, I'll come out and we'll set it up.
  7. It would be best to have the same brand/model of tyres on all corners of the car, as having a mismatch can lead to the tyres on one end of the car over heating or going off before the others, causing all sorts of handling problems.
  8. That's mesmerising, but disturbing at the same time...
  9. Give a couple of the Autobarns a call, they sometimes have them in stock (I think that I saw one at the Chirnside Park AB last week)
  10. Your only 30 I would have sworn that you where older than me.
  11. I thought that the 12 hr was only for production cars, I don't know where a race spec GTR would fit in?
  12. Naomi missed the car in front of her slowing, and freckle punched it. She and the Kids are Ok, and we'll find out in the next day or two if the car will be repaired or written off. About 10 grand damage done.
  13. So is it to late to add another car to the "it'll buff right out" category?
  14. His ex wife was hot though...
  15. My son and I saw the convoy go over on Saturday as well. I actually went for a flight in Elvis at the start of the year, as they had it based out of Lilydale Airport (next door to my farm) for a while, They where doing some check flights and I managed to blag my way on board for one. damn things are noisy inside, the real funky bit is that the pilot can turn his seat around and fly looking through the cargo area (so that when they are being a crane they can see the load and the landing point)
  16. I'd say most of the posts are by Yanks, going by the cars/people reffered to in the posts, there for they have not idea of what is a attractive car.
  17. For the F1 fan in us all... Renault F1 Collection.
  18. Before doing all that, take the leads off the alternator and give them a good cleaning, it might just be something as simple as dirty contacts stopping a full charge getting through.
  19. But do they come in Yellow? Actually, my son's starting to point out all of the yellow cars and truck that he see at the moment, but I think that it has more to do with Scoop (his favorite) from Bob the Builder being yellow as well.
  20. McLaren won't let Kimi out of his contract, so he can't test for Ferrari until next year. Mind you, Ron Dennis is whinging that Renault won't release Fernando to test for McLaren before next year though. And those new rules,
  21. Sandown doesn't run days like it, I think Calder does occasionally iirc, keep an eye on Winton's website for more info.
  22. As someone with two young one's the second is a lot cheaper. Keep the car, I reckon that you will regret selling it, and you probably won't get a chance to get another like it till the kids have moved out.
  23. Mainly because importation approval and registration are two totally separate things.
  24. I should have explained further, in that I meant once it's in the country, if you get a RWC on it, then VicRoads doesn't need to know that it has been O/S.
