  1. Yes they are True No, didn't know about that one Also, now that the highway has been re-routed (for quite some time now) you don't get to see the Big Oyster at Taree...The mini Ayers Rock was still visible from the highway (down near Buladelah) last time I was down that way, but that may have changed now too (they were doing roadworks in that area last time...they've probably finished that by now.
  2. Happy Birthday Marc!! From, Karen
  3. Bryn, How long do you think you'll be at work? Remember last time at Toombul...we never left the car park until after 9:30pm, and we'd been there over an hour We could wait for you
  4. Ryan, you're welcome anytime Hey Terry, do you mean a different town, because Evans Head is not far south of Ballina...do you mean Crescent Head or Grassy Head?? Yes, this bypass is teh best but heading north, it comes up upon you very quickly There's also a bypass for Ballina but I won't go into that...too confusing without a map : Correct <insert rant about blatant revenue raising>
  5. Hi kaige, Please view this POST, and the destination is usually sorted out in the carpark at the time Good to see some more people are coming along too Regards, Karen
  6. Hi Ryan, The trip takes roughly 10 hrs 30 mins if you don't stop (only fuel stops and maccas drive thru) Kempsey is approximately half way, but I would not recommend staying there...I would stay in Port Macquarie (only about another 40 mins south of Kempsey). Port Macquarie is off the Pacific Highway, about 10kms and is a lovely place. Coffs Harbour is a nice spot (about 4 hours from Brisbane), the Big Banana is there on the highway, so something to look at. The rules about turbos is that people who are only on P's and under a certain age are not allowed to drive/own turbo cars -- my understanding is that you will be fine as your vehicle is registered in Queensland and you have a Queensland drivers licence. I would check fluids and tyre pressures if you keep your car well maintained...if you don't keep your car well maintained I would get a service. Also if you are a member of the RACQ for roadside assist, the NRMA in NSW is the same thing, and they will attend to your car if needed. Hmmm, skyline cruise down the coast over easter...sounds quite nice BTW - NSW have double demerit points over the whole easter period...usually starts on Thursday night at 12 midnight and runs through until Monday night at 12 midnight...this may have altered since I was there last though. Have a safe trip Regards, Karen
  7. ooohhhh I fogot those 2 gems :
  8. A sileighty is a "rare" car and is only available on the following days, in the Late 90's Used Car Menu: 106-112, 113-119, 183-189, 358-364, 470-476, 568-574, 582-588, 617-623, 673-679, 687-693. The stagea is a "standard" car and is available quite often. The used car line up changes every 7 days, so just keep visiting the used car menus and you'll find it again. There are 2 "rare" WRX cars in the game. One is the Impreza Premium Sports Coupe 22B-STi Version (GC) 1998 available on days: 225-231, 274-280, 295-301, 309-315, 330-336, 351-357, 358-364, 400-406, 491-497, 540-546. The other Subaru is the Impreza WRX STi Prodrive Style (GD, Type-I) 2001 and it's available on the following days: 64-70, 113-119, 120-126, 155-161, 162-168, 183-189, 351-357, 372-378, 400-406, 449-455, 505-511, 512-518, 568-574, 575-581, 589-595, 631-637, 680-686. I've never seen a GTS-4 or a Cefiro...has anyone else? Save your money for 2 Race Cars in days 694-700, the Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car and the Nissan R92CP Race Car -- both are in black and look hot The downside is that these are over 1,000,000 each...so save up now!! An easy way to make money is to get your National A Licence and then go to the Special Conditions. The prize car for the Costa di Amalfi track (easy) is the Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car and this is worth 265,000 or so credits. If you do this race over and over and sell the car each time, you can make money fast (make sure you clear your results from the previous race to win the car again, this doesn't affect your win ratio). I leave the rims as stock, as different rims don't make it go faster Regards, Karen
  9. lbfalcon has these for sale HERE

  12. You need to drive along Milton Road until you get to a roundabout (a Mitsubishi dealer will be on the right hand side). Be in the lane closest to the centre of the road. Go straight through the roundabout and then you should see a sign which points to the Botanical Gardens and Mt Coot-tha (this turns toward the right). You should see a sign for the Botanical Gardens, and you need to turn left into the Carpark View Map...hope this helps So a recap for all: Meet: Mt C, Botanical Gardens Carpark (refer map above) Time: 8.30pm Date: 30/03/06
  13. Car: Silver S2 R33 Rego: 845-JIA Where: Sherwood Road, Toowong (heading toward Jephson St) When: Tuesday 28/3/2006 @ 8.30am What was I doing: Walking to work

  15. LOL @ Dan....we should be grateful he's wearing shorts without holes Was very sad the day this happened Benjito, but she'll be running again better than ever very soon...and happily doing skids and turbo spooling in the ICB
  16. I thought we were going to avoid Mt Coot-tha...but anyways Whats the meeting time in the Botanical Gardens Carpark and where are we off to after loitering in the carpark for 30 mins??
  17. Saw a White Holden Crewman on the Logan Motorway between the toll booths on Sunday (26/3/2006)...it was definitely a cop, coz he was booking someone. The lights were in the back window near the headrests...if the lights had not been flashing, you would not have seen them. Did not get a number plate unfortunately
