  1. How can you possibly educate us when you don't even have a feeble grasp of the english language?
  2. Yeh thats the other accepted meaning
  3. ummm this is Spam-Town, not whoreland I think we should have a thread name change....who's with me??
  4. no whore long time??
  5. OMG...you have net now? shouldn't you be working
  6. Yeh employer pwnage
  7. I know exactly what you are saying...my longest job ever has only been 3.5 years...but most of mine have barely made 12 months The 3.5 year job, I was whinging for something different/challenging to do after about 6 months. I wasn't given anything different to do really...I stayed coz I didn't think I could get a job elsewhere
  8. yeh i did...was only about 23 too...was the Rates Manager (like an Accountant of sorts) which was my normal job at the time, and the IT Manager. It wasn't so much that I was challenged mentally, but I was BUSY everyday, which I really enjoyed Yep agreed...if employers paid people what they are worth rather than have them leave, then people would be happy to stay with the one employer. Also if people were offered a genuine career path, again the inclination to leave would not be as great IMO. A lady I worked with in Sydney was the Payroll Manager...she asked for a payrise (not overly much but a few grand or so)...it was knocked back so she left and got a new job, paying more than she originally asked for with her previous employer. Some months after her departure, her previous employer was having trouble filling her old position as Payroll Manager, so they had to increase the salary on offer. So she applied for her old job back. They interviewed her of course (EEO) and she hit them up for more money again and she got her old job back Had someone in charge had any brain whatsoever, they would've just paid the lady the increase she asked for, rather than go through all that crap, just to get her back anyway
  9. but where is the job loyalty? no one wants to be loyal to their employer anymore coz employers are not loyal to the worker. The thing is Andy, will this boost your career opportunities and enable you to find an even better job should you and Anna decide to move to Sydney in a year or so....or is the job already in Sydney??
  10. you know you do not need to use that stuff everytime you wash your car hey?? its only for cleaning off different products..ie preparing your paint for meguiars to be used...like a base coat Personally I would prefer working like a dog and getting challenged...I have only ever been really challenged once whilst working and that was because I was performing in 2 full time roles in my office...yes thats right people, 2 full time jobs...I was working anything between 60-70hrs per week, plus doing uni...
  11. I've never even used one...I would like to hear if anyone has used one and if they are any good. I imagine that the pad used would make a huge difference to the affect on your paintwork (good or bad) meguiars...I used to use their professional range, but have started buying the new Tech range now...the ones in the purple and bright green containers. Its not for everyone, but I have always been happy with the results and my paintwork on my car speaks for itself really
