  1. from bilstein's website they listed the same shock/coil over part number for 32 gts4 and gtr, different part number for gtst.
  2. I'm interested, but wouldn't it need new oil pick up to reach to the bottom of the enlarged sump keep us posted!
  3. I think I have upload all the pics of SPEAK that I took.. but it is easier to look for small details on original size pics at home. since u made me sign up on vortex.. do i get ur engine now? :jk:
  4. what the!! am I guessing thats probably 8pots calipers on the front? just checked the pics I took and looked like it has some trick in cabin adjustable suspension as well.. :looney:

apparently where my gf stays (somewhere in nagakute) in japan is half hour walk to fujigaoka subway station, then its just half hour train to nagoya. I guess thats not that close to anyone else? oh and I might be doing the sapporo beer tour and whatever snow monkeys up there .. damn that'll b cold at january

    Nara

wahahah asse and deers.. ikeri, feeding animals can be quite dangerous, so next time make sure rezz is around to take pics of you getting attacked by them
  7. I have this custom fuel rail to suit nissan top feed injectors. SOLD!
  8. even tho cosmo is not common, I'm sure plenty of rotary shops in qld can help you in term of engine and mechanical stuff. I spotted this one only a month ago.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...achmentid=22702

    Whoretown Japan....

hahaha rezz I'm not good with all these places names especially in english/romanji, as I won't be able to match it to kanji names(makes it even harder that I have zero jap language skill), and without some sort of maps to look up so whatever places she tells me I just go "um huh thats nice dear"

    Whoretown Japan....

anyone know if theres anything interesting/worth visiting say in nagakute or around the area? gf only knows where to shop (apita shopping center?) and where to eat and thats it (typical female), at least she spotted a few suzi cappuccino around oh and wheres the good shops to buy suzi cappo car parts?
  11. welcome back neo/qmk04z... I guess thats ur new plate on ur mk4? only if silly vw didn't have the exahust port between the engine and firewall, then it would b easier to do work around turbo side of thing.. you might find that you do have some room in the engine bay once u get rid of all the silly engine covers
  12. if the alternator belt isn't slipping or overtightening, and measured idle voltage at alternator/battery not showing 13+ volts then alternator is gooooooonnnnnnneeeeeee. dave you can still strip my ful sik subwoofa tape deck?! hmm so does that mean next time I got pick up my pos 32 it'll sport a sohc head with a ded commie battery and sits on bricks? godamn bogans!
  13. just a quick update.. turns out to be loose wiring, so thats easy fix.. now just need to wait for ecu tuning. oh and honda city is cool! bring on the city turbo I say!
  14. While I have no intention of ever wanting fwd v8.. check this: http://www.cwstuning.com/gallery/coupe-degolf or click http://www.cwstuning.com/gallery/albums.php and click 91 golf with v8 I personally prefer 1.8t over vr6, 4cyl has more room to work with, cheaper to build, not as nose heavy.
  15. rubbish pos dusty 32 bites the dust! grrr :goddam: better off stay at shop out of my sight thanks to melv, erin/andrew, and everyone elses.. 3cyl powah > rubbish 32
  16. erin, nope not tuned, just got new dump pipes made so its pouring smokes from the wd40 dave, I'm not much better.. hadn't had much sleep all week since last fri nite :looney:
  17. probably see u guys there with my dusty pos 32
  18. didn't suncorp have some scrooed up idea of limited mods you can do before they'll increase your premium? I have my 3cyl powah insured with just car and they are not as fuss on the vehicle mods (but read the fine lines before you decide of course)

    Tas 2005

oh oh oh.. I'm going to TAS 05! Hopefully get there to visit gf at nagakute then meet up with you lots then go back to nagakute and do other stuff..
  20. neo I would still own you around corners with my dead standard CL with its huge body roll and proven 18.6s 1/4mile time! :jk: (and it did own s13 ca18det around corners) However I wouldn't quite call a mk4 a go kart handling consider they weight around 1300kg well if I ever get $$$ one day.. I wouldn't mind building a street trim golf fwd for 1/4mile race just not sure whether to start with mk3 vr6 and then twin t or mk3+1.8t.. still leaning towards the 1.8t for less weight factor. Have heard that its possible to get 300kw@fly with headgasket change+bolt on with 1.8t, with traction permitted that should guarantee 12s oh then theres the dreadful fwd gearbox problem..
  21. off topic: while this isn't any old sleeper volvo.. but it sure looked tuff
  22. I got charged an arm and leg when my pos golf got serviced once at austral (yeah i know shouldnt goto dealer service centurd ) neo I want to know whats the fastest 1/4m time any golf in qld or australia has ever done with any vw engines? I'v only seen rice mk4 1.8t thats slow as(couldnt spool the bigger turbo), and all these bone stock "still under factory warranty" golf r32, no real fast vr6 either..
  23. I have intank fuelpump powered by ziptie! :D
  24. didn't oz used to werk for audi service center? neo I have finally sign up to vwvortex after so many yrs of lurking Now I just gotta get the engine out of ur car
  25. that looked very nasty , wish you speedy recovery..
