Don't buy anything until you are certain what the problem is. There are a various tests you can do to see if the alternator is failing or not. Just do a few google searches. You're mainly interested in the impedence/resistance between a few particular points. Also: The battery will show whatever voltage what battery is supposed to output unless you put a load on it. A multimeter won't do much in determining that, unless it has a dummy load also.

Just read that thread. Protecting Your Car And Yourself. Gah, brazen thieves indeed. My house has been broken into while I was asleep shortly after I bought my R33. Nothing was stolen. But it was obvious they were searching for my keys to steal my car. My mum's bag was found outside, emptied. Nothing missing at all. I was so paranoid after that. Scared to walk around the house at night!

My car is my daily driver. Considering getting a bike and making the R33 my weekender though.

I normally get 350-400km out of a tank and fill up about 45 to 50L each time. Lightly modified auto R33 GTS-t
