  1. 2 days if you drive non-stop. We did Ceduna to Perth in 22.5 hours. Adeleide is another 8 or so.
  2. Bit random here, but I was just clearing out my camera for tonight (Ignition cruise) and I stumbled across this photo.. Mine and Nathan's car on the Great Aussie Bight. My personal fav.
  3. Best of luck to ya, Ant Next time we meet up I'll try recognize you ;P
  4. This has everything to do with WA, but not your car electrics. It's related to WA's elevation about sea level. It happens to everyone. Just to repeat, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FUSES OR WIRING IN YOUR CAR.
  5. Did some digging.. I came across this.. Seems to be on the money, but there are a lot of screens and options I still don't understand. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=405922
  6. Also, on HKSUSA.com, they have it listed as EVC VI (6). http://www.hksusa.com/categories/?id=1936&rsku=0
  7. On inspection of the unit, there is no jack to plug anything in to it?
  8. I have this one. However the manual posted in post #2 is a manual for an EVC 4 (according to your post) even though it was 5 in the file name. I've found this to be consistent in all english manuals I've found.
  9. Thanks for the quick reply, but this is the previous model. I have the EVC 6.
  10. Reminds me of this Hyundai Excel getting around here with a full "HYPER" bodykit.. Yuck.
  11. I prefer R33 S2 front bar with chin spoiler with 400r skirts.
  12. Hey guys, I recently received a HKS EVC VI (instead of the V I ordered) and have successfully installed it and have it set up to some limited extent (I.e, it reaches peak boost and holds it. I think I was lucky to make it that far). There are still some features I'd like to be able to tinker with that are listed as features. Does anyone else have one of these and know what each function in the menus does? Cheers guys, Shayde
  13. I got that low.. I got 616km to a tank. So ner
  14. wgmg is overtime and fitting HKS boost controllers. Those who do it or have done it know what I'm talking about.
  15. That would get stupidly expensive. That stuff is like $20 a bottle and would increase the fuel trip to $80-90 per tank. No way can I justify that.
  16. I have seen a trailer being pulled by an R33 before.. It was so weird.. I didn't want to look at it, but I couldn't look away
  17. Argh, why the hell would you go through insurance to get a little spraying done
  18. Bernard, don't go through insurance to get this repaired. Go to a workshop yourself. You'll save $1,500 or around that figure and you won't ruin your insurance rating. Keep the receipt and when you locate the f**ks they'll have to pay for it by law and there will be some charge involved.
  19. A bit far with the "rape them" comment.. But they deserve to be punished in some legal sense of the word.
  20. Okay, I've seen double posts before, but I've never seen a triple post.. Congrats.
  21. You didn't have the foresight to check that sort of thing?
  22. Visit bp.com.au and check if BP Ultimate is available along the way. That was pretty much mine and Nathan's only concerns with the trip. I found I had best economy when I just with nothing on except for the stereo and with the window down. I tried using just the fan at the start and compared it to having the passenger window down a fraction.. and fan off lost. Also, if you have a FMIC, you can put aluminium fly wire in front of it like I did. Saves trying to pick bugs out for the rest of your life... and best thing to get bugs off your paint is Windex surface cleaner. Good luck and have a safe trip, Shayde
  23. I'm sure they do good imports, but I'm not a fan of their workshop.
  24. I'm surprised that Nathan didn't throw the CDs out across the Nullabor or something. Good effort. Waiting for him to add up his receipts to work out how much he paid. Be closer to $600 than me.
  25. Yeah, I paid around $1270 to have it trucked over there. I wouldn't do it again though.. Cheaper, but mentally draining. I'm only still sane because Dave installed a CD stacker that held 12 CDs before I bought the car. Legend he is! Poor Nathan only had 3 Chili Pepper CDs to listen to the entire way!
