  1. If you get desperate mate I'll give ya $40 and pick them up myself.
  2. Try across the road at Quality Crash they do good spray jobs and if you show them you are in the know won't charge through the roof either. Had work on my car done there!
  3. Yeah your probably right should of got a workshop manual and done it myself, it do have the tools, laziness can be expensive!
  4. Dude your better off spending a few more K's and getting a clean decent 32. I bought mine 9 months ago I paid 16,500 with racing volks, lowered and exhaust, perfect paint and interior, even has the original book and service manuals(pity its in japanese). Could of bought others with more mods for cheaper but you have to have a good 'base car' then put mods on it. Spend time and look around, mine took 3 months to find, you will find 1 they are out there! Last thing you want to do is buy a car from a wrecker....wreck-er!
  5. Na wasn't dynoed, next time will take to a place that has 1. It wasn't running badly overall it just missed every now and then, still had good power. didn't think it needed a dyno thought it was a 'parts problem'. Anyway i have learnt my lesson. :
  6. yeah pulled next to her on South Rd. last week gave her thumbs up she waved and smiled....RESPECT chick with nice 32 aaarrrrrrrr!
  7. Sorry to hear that Ifc. Hope it works out for you mate! So much for family businesses......they're probably imbred, do they walk on all fours?? Yeah there seems to be a lot of 'shonky' workshops out there! I had to spend over $600 to find out that my $85 coil was stuffed, that was at a certain "auto centre" in Woodcroft, starts with an A?(A for Adam's) Anyway they replaced my AFM spent 3 hours labour to find out the problem was what I told them in the first place. They said it was 99.99% AFM problem. So they replaced the AFM and drove it home when 2 minutes down the road it started mis-firing again. Anyway 3 days later get my car back and forked out total $585 for replacement AFM, 3 hours labor and coil. Bastards! Now it doesn't start properly in the morning ever since, takes 2-3 times to start, coughs and splutters then runs ok! According to them it runs 'perfect'. What a joke! Where are all the good mechanics gone??
  8. Yeah got my exhaust fitted, and turbo and manifold gaskets changed there! Good price and work was done on time and had no probs since. Good work Exhaust Tech!
  9. hey i reckon i've seen you in the Biology carpark, i drive red 32!
  10. jobsearch.gov.au
  11. Motormate! about $12. enough for 2 cars maybe 3. Its behind the counter so you will have to ask for it!
  12. yeah went there to get my boost controller fitted and dyno tuned, great service but does he do mechanical stuff too or just tunes and mods?
  13. No they were supplying the afm, 2nd hand original or new after-market, still they go for 250-300. I got 2nd hand from Adelaide Jap Dismantlers $195. After market = $290 new. Thats at least $200 labour for changing the plug! I can almost get a lock-bar for that.
  14. Gotta replace my afm and a couple of coils, nothing major. My mechanic quoted me $500 to replace my afm, i was like 'what the....?' That's ridiculous i am changing mechanics! Had it serviced 4 weeks ago, they changed a couple of o-rings in the gearbox and now it leaks even more. They replaced a headlight globe, then didn't re-adjust the beam. its only small things i know but if you do a job right, then do a job right! Yeah i have heard good things about Boost Worx and Graham West, will have to try there next time! Thanks Guys
  15. Hey Guys, I need a good mechanic in the southern area, my current mechanic just cant get it right! I live in the Woodccroft area. Thanks guys

  17. If memory serves me well then i think it is 330mm from wheel centre to guard, correct me if i am wrong. I know there is a thread about this somewhere?
  18. Its funny how people always remember how stupid other people are, and forget quickly their own mistakes! My 2 cents!
  19. yeah doesnt matter which insurance company you choose, you will be paying a sh@#load! 18 years of age, turbo , 6 cylinder, coupe, possibly jap import! If you go for insurance just in your name then yeah...............how about being a part driver on your parent's insurance??
  20. When I bent the inside lip of my rim when I hit a curb, took it to Extensive and the guy said it was beyond repair, took it across the road to Adelaide Rim and Wheel works and they re-rolled it for $150, small price to pay compared to $1200 to replace the rim!! (damn volk racing wheels). Did a great job too!! Dunno if the guy an Extensive was too busy or whatever but i heard they do good work too! They are both on South Road at Mile End.
  21. i thinks my "laser blaster" gear changer was removed before being imported to Australia, due to the fact they are tooooo sick!
