yeah i saw that defect station drove straight through it guy in a blue vl in front of me wasnt so lucky he had internationals lowered(dumped actually) and rb## turbs. as i was going around the corner a cop was lifting his bonnet, hope had had an engineers report otherwise DAMN!!! trust the cops to ruin everyones day and such a nice day too!

just around my area Woodcroft (southern area) etc... in the last coulpe weeks i have seen a black r34 gtr v-spec driven by a guy in his 50's, a green r33 gtr, a gunmetal grey r32 gtr and most surprising a white r33 gtr with p's and vic plates! there seems to be a few floating around i would have 1 too if i could afford 1. go the GTR!!

if ever i get a 4 door its gonna be that one!

hey guys. i was driving my car(r32 gtst) home when i noticed the hicas light on my dash came on, i also noticed that my speedometer stopped working. i drove it home and noticed that it handled alot differently than b4. i checked power steering fluid levels, all fuses and relays and all ok. has anyone had this problem b4? i am worried and should i keep driving? its hard to get a mechanic at this time of the year. any suggestions guys??????

yeah had mine done at adelaide wheel and rim when i hit a gutter and bent the inside edge. the guys from extensive said it was beyond repair so took it across the road and got it re-rolled for $120. did a great job too. it was a small price to pay compared to getting another volk.

wasnt the GT17 off a SAAB. i read somewhere they are pretty small, and not much of an upgrade and can only run on low boost. i think i will consider the 2530 see if i can pick one up cheap 2nd somewhere. ive only heard good things about it. thanks guys

yeah i have replaced standard front and rear speakers with clarion after market ones. i have bypassed the pre amp in both the front doors and the rear (under the rear parcel shelf). the factory pre-amps look pretty piss weak as they usually power 25 -30 watts. you have a big chance of over loading the pre amp with higher watt speakers, distortion from under powering them is really annoying. in mine i have: front 180w clarion splits feeding off after market amp rear clarion 160w 2-way splits feeding of head unit 50w by 2 and a 12- inch sub in boot in sealed box bridged 2 channels 1000 watt peak power 4-channel amp the set up is sweet and is ample for a car its size. cost me about $900 and installed it myself.

no FMIC at this stage, just standard. speaking of intercoolers that is next on my list, i have seen ones from $700 to about $1800. the cheap ones drop alot of boost about 5-8psi( so i have been told) and the internal fins are chunky(inefficient). i went to ASE and saw one with micro fins and no big blocked sections in the core. i was told a boost drop of 2-3psi would be expected and alot more cooling than the cheaper alternative. it is alot of money to fork out, is it realy worth it? i am not planning on making mega hosepower anyway. there is a hybrid kit r32/r33 at autoban for about $600 and it is a decent size looking unit. feedback???? <_<

mine has just lowered springs and the camber is noticeably negative. when taking off hard two very thin marks imprint onto the road and visually you can see the difference! i am not sure if there is any handling difference.

i own a r32 gtst and put lowered springs all round. great ride but is mow starting to squeek beyond a joke. a few mates have coil overs in their cars which do the same. is this a common problem or simply the bushes need replacing? if so where is a good place to get it done? i have had work done at action suspension at edwardstown before but they always take about double the amount of time they said they would? feedback? it only squeeks in the front.

in my rb20 (r32 gtst) the oil pressure fluctuates between 1kg/cm2 and about 5 or 6 kg/cm2, is this normal? does anyone know how it works? does the viscosity of the oil make a difference since i am using semi-synthetic penzoil? i am not sure if the oil pump is playing up or not and am getting paranoid about taking it hard. is this normal? i am not sure of the correct specs and cannot find them on the net anywhere. i have service books and all manuals with the car but my japanese is not good. are there english versions available? if so where from?

anyone know a good place to pick up good turbos from (2nd hand). or anyone that reconditions them. silly question maybe but i am new to the scene. someone suggested replacing the creamic exhaust with a steel one so i can run more boost. ceramic wheels spool up quicker than steel ones right? port matching also gives better flow therefore more power? anyone with suggestions about a good turbo/tune shop, otherwise i will stick with hi-tech dyno. feedback?

yeah i have heard the same from a few other people. but he has hot cars out the front all the time. probably fixing his own stuff ups. i had mine tuned at high-tech dyno on the corner of south & daws road, had no problems, speedy service and fixed price quotes. i recommend them, plus the place looks spotless and organized always a good sign!

what was he thinking? skylines do not come with auto-pilot. looked like it was in town, what a way to impress the chicks hey!

they also wear some pretty weird clothes. i havent seen anyone in a white looking kimono in a 10 second gtr before. if they are as fanatical as their cars as they are in their attire then we should see some crazy cars from the middle east soon. good to see the skylines are getting some world-wide recognition that they deserve!!

have you got your power fc installed yet? i was thinking of gettin one for mine. it will be interesting to see how much difference it makes so keep me informed! see ya round woodcroft anyway. skylines keepin the south alive!!
