hi all im gonna be painting my rocker covers/timing cover/valley cover etc and i was wondering if i could ditch the rb25 valley cover and put on a GTR cover? they looks much better so just wondering if this could be done? cheers

im thinking of getting an adjustable cam gear (exhaust) ive got all stage one mods done (full 3" xhaust, pod + CAI, front mount, heavy duty clutch, boost controller @ 10psi) gonna get a safc soon, will a cam gear be worthwhile? whats the average cost to get one fitted? cheers

interesting read....will a remap gain you more power "safely" then a properly tuned apexi safc 2??

awesome spot i always take the misses is at Lady Maquaries chair, its where the art gallery is but continue that road till ur right at the end. chuck a coin in the meter and take her down the stairs, ur literaly on the water, nice grassland, nice walk way, beautiful views of the harbour bridge, opera house, ferrys passing by....

ive also got a series 2 r33 gtst, if i can get anything above 200rwkw i'l be happy as larry ! only mods are full 3" turbo back stainless exhaust, 3" high flow cat, pod/cold air intake, cooling pro bar n plate front mount, turbotech boost controller at 10psi and exedy sports tuff clutch.. im willing to run around 12psi....ive made my mind not to get a chipped ecu from ebay, rather spend the money on a safc and get it tuned specificaly for my car/mods cheers ps. are all those ecu's with chips locked? no tuner here in aus can retune them?

nah havent bought one... im just asking coz ive seen afew r32 gtrs running Mines chipped ecus with stage one mods makin sum descent power dont know how there AFR's are and fuel economy though... so im guessing an apexi safc would be a wise move?

im in the market for an ecu, either a stand alone one or a piggy back just to make the most of my stage one mods ive noticed afew of these Mines, LAP etc remaped ecu's popping up, sayin they hav been programed for cars with full exhaust, intercooler, 12psi...and to lean out afrs...some even sayin they were tested and there cars (r33 gtst) made a tad over 200rwkw with this in place can u trust these? are they worth it, i dont hav a lot of money to spend on an ecu..im only after around 200rwkw and i will never go any further anyone tried these, any proven results...all comments would be appreciated

thats the one i put on....flows so much better to the standard 2.5" cat, dump/front pipe in one, with this cat is a nice overall pakage, and with noticable gains

ive got the first one....fitted up pretty easy, definetly increased resonse and also a slight increase in psi (1-2psi). bolted up nicely, just one bolt was abit hard to get to, but i just cut my open ended spanner in half so i can get in there and tighten it up overall good product chuck on a 3.5" hi flow cat while ur at it

sooo do u no if u hav a turbo or not? can u hear any whosing sounds when u accelerate?? llol post up sum pics of ur engine bay and dash cluster....we will be able to tell u straight away

hey guys well today i decided to take off my oxy sensor so i can put in a new one....i sprayed abit of wd40 on the thread part to loosen it up but it did not want to come loose! ive got an after market front/dump pipe and i remember it came off easily from the stock dump afew months ago the problem is i cant get much leverge cos of the tight spot.... how did u guys go about taking it out??? any tips would be great as i want to do it tomorow ! thanks

before i ran more then stock boost with an aftermarket boost controller, i installed an aftermarket boost gauge which reads in PSI, cant go wrong mate if you dont want to do that, the above post is correct
