  1. mine came with lowered springs and shocks when i bought the car (springs are green colour?) but its not low enough for my liking, must of only been lowered an inch or 2 over standard its running volk racing rims, 18x9.5 rears with 235 rubber, and 18x 8.5 fronts with 235's and the front scrubs on full lock, but i can see where its scrubbing, its only on abit of that black plasic. i want it lowered at least 1.5" all around doesnt hav to much info on the king spring website for r33's
  2. do you have the standard black intercooler pipe that goes from the intercooler and joins to the top of the engine? mine has a blow off valve welded on, and i want it gone ! let me no

  10. this is the Just Jap type this looks the goods, and only needs abit of extra pipe with silicon joiners to hook up the stock pipes.
  11. thanks for info guys well my plans are to run a safc after the intercooler install, and run around 12psi boost, and get it tuned. im after 200rwkw or there abouts. im gonna look into it abit more, and ask some other people there thoughts about what to do.... like i said i would like to keep the stock pipes and run some sort of front mount for better cooling, but if this is gonna cause alot of stuffin around and stuff, i guess you realy cant go wrong with an off the shelf front mount kit. i'l keep you guys posted on what i end up doing/etc thanks
  12. thats another thought... off topic but what % tints do you have? looks awesome cheers
  13. south sydney - shire we know afew aluminium fabricators that can bend/weld aluminium etc
  14. i was thinking of this, but i was a little concerned about how they would handle the heat on a hot day you still have to use the stock duct to the cooler right?
  15. yeh i understand that, i just want to keep the stock intercooler pipes, and im not that keen in cutting the chassis for the aftermarket intercooler pipe. plus stock pipes = better response for the standard turbo only running 11ish psi
  16. hi im in the market for an intercooler very soon, and after having a good look at our xr6 turbo front mount, i thought that it might be a good idea to get one and use it on my r33. The main advantage that i see in using this is that you keep the stock intercooler pipes in the engine bay, you dont need to cut a hole in the chassis for the usual front mount kits, and it keeps your piping short = better response, plus you dont get cop attention when you pop the bonnet. Now i know that the xr6 front mounts have the inlets/outlets on the oppoist side, but that can be fixed by just turning it the right way, and gettin sum custom pipes made up to attach to the stock ones.... just an idea i had, let me know what you guys think/has anyone done this before? cheers
  17. ive got 18x 9.5 volk rims and it currently has 235's which are way to small. 255's or such would be nice
  18. i was bored and decided to do this mod, took 10 mins. took the car for a wrap and noticed the stock boost gauge needle alittle bit higher then the line under 7. which is around 8ish psi? felt good down low and pulled up harder. 3" dump/front pipe hopefuly going on this weekend
  19. oh and spotted a white R32 GTR north bound princess h'way at rockdale sunday night plates CYAAA
  20. spotted white r33 gtr vpsec Series 3 plates GTR-98L IN my driveway, another skyline joins the family
  21. to clean them i got a can of Nulon brake cleaner, we used it when i helped my brother inlaw do his GTR. you just spray it on, and blow it off with the air compressor and it just dries up instantly. i might do them this weekend, i'l try get sum pics up when there finished
  22. carbon fibre rims perhaps? hehe
  23. oh yeh by the way it has a carbon bonnet, and im gonna get dark tints soon, so black calipers would be perfect

  25. also be careful of unmarked police, i saw afew xr6 fords pulling over some cars just after bay st and after the airport tunnel. usualy bright coloured like orange, green etc. i went through yesterdayafternoon and had afew coppers behind me, they didnt look twice, if you behave you have nothing to worry about there after the hoons that fly down bay st to impress chicks with there cannon exhuast and there schick pod filter induction noises
