yep thats what ive herd aswell. personally im not a fan of idling, even when the car is cold in the mornings, just start it, get comfy, find a good radio station and go, usualy just keep it under 3000rpms until it gets to operating temp. but you only left it on over night once, not like you do it every week, i wouldnt worry about it too much, maybe check/clean ur plugs...

this happened to me to the vl i had, but the timing belt tensioner snapped instead, i had to take the fan,shroud,radiator off so i can get in there with a cordless drill, and then use the easy out, was abit of a pain in the ass, but it works. lucky it didnt cause any problems to the valves coz the whole timing belt was pretty much completly off the cam gear.. -
what an event !!!!!! went absolutly off ! we ended up getting there at 4pm... the toilet lines were friken unbelievable, as was the que at the bars ! met a nice bird aswell during the night, and were going for sushi tomorow night LOL all in all a great night with mates, i enjoyed it alot so whens the next one? :sorcerer:

how does a ship of that size end up on the beach? was it anchored off newcastle waiting to enter the harbour? or was it under way. you wouldnt think a ship of that size would even move....but i guess what they say is true "big ships,big seas"

i bought a Unior torque wrench from the trade show at Melbourne few weeks ago, ranges from 25Nm - 210Nm, went to use it yesterday and its stuffed, need to tighten a bolt @ 75 Nm and it didnt stop or 'click', so i set it to the lowest setting...still nufin, payed $130, pay abit more a get something good

were thinking of leaving around 9 or 10ish and prob go to the cross, but i no how its gonna end up, dragon fly will reject us (to many guys) sapphire - same reason, blah ! hate those nights were we end up spending the whole night walking around coz we cant get in....gayness

that is the f*&kn worst ! once after a big nite in the city, we were goin bak to a mates house @ lidcombe along parra rd in his integra, with fully stiff suspension, felt like we were gettin airborne after hittin every bump ! plus the 3 passengers (including me) ended up throwing up on the side of the road fix our roads f*kyas -
get the car at operating temp and open the oil filler cap while its running (like u said above) and see if chuffing white mist out, if it is theres an obvious blow by problem (rings etc). dont no much about r32 gtrs, but this works well with other cars :)also i guess a nice normal looking engine bay may tell you abit, eg: no paint missing from intake plenum, or cam covers etc goodluck in ur quest

sounds good.....does it matter if you get any on the actual engine? wont burn and start smelling will it?
