yeah saw the pics you posted on pg5, I thought there may have been cops ahead but it was just another friendly cruiser punishing beels line. Going west bound on a sunday arvo is tops, everyone is heading the opposite way.

I passed you guys this morning on my way to sydney, I was in the R31 GTS1 between williamson springs and bathurst, almost broke my neck trying to check you all out. The blue S15 flashed me on my way home on bells line too, g'day to whoever it was

What model is the satcker?

I picked up something yesterday racing in the GT-R challenge. I was driving a R32 V-specII with the traction control and oversteer ASM off but the understeer ASM on about 2-3. What happens is if you happen to trail brake into a corner the ASM would put power on and would help spit you off the track, it took me ages to work out wtf was going on and only picked it up by the groan of the RB26 when I was on the anchors. Something to watch out for people, if your going to turn down the diving aids turn them completely off.

I picked up an R33 2 door brouchure (not GT-R) while picking up some R31 material from Japan. I'm not sure of the availablility on the though the car yards but I'll take offers over $20. Ed

Initially when I heard the news report I thought it must have been ripped off by joyriders. A 23 year old guy with a couple of mates in an R34 GTR... My condolences go out to the friends and families of those involved.

Here's what I've got: A pair of strut tops that are left over from a strut/tower bar for an R32, I've used the centre section and made up new ends for my R31. If someone can use them for a strut bar or brake booster / firewall brace, then make me an offer, I have no use for them. Ed

I was down there last week buying another R31 and saw a very tidy silver '33 with a veilside type kit on it and also a red series1. There were 3 R33's cruising in young on the return trip. Good to see decent cars getting around in the country areas!

Something I've noticed with the GTS is that they have a vinyl boot and non folding mirrors whereas the GTS-X has a carpeted boot and folding mirrors. Pete, My old GT Passage had that velour thing happeneing on the pillar covers. It was more like a spray-on treatment rather than a fabric. Ed

For rim repairs I recently had 2 R31 GTS1 rims fixed at Abarth Wheel Repairs in pioneer place, thornleigh. They done a top job at a good price.

Roy, Roos are a problem in rural areas, I noticed two more fresh kills on the way to work this morning that happened in the last 24hrs.. The RTA recommends that you never swerve to miss an animal but if that were case I could rack up another three "at fault" claims to my driving history. Obviously if there were oncoming traffic you'd take out whatever wildlife was in front of you.

I don't know if you guys are getting this one in the city, but theres a campaign going at the moment that goes something like: 80% of all accidents occur on bends. I'll bet the genius that thought that up lives in the middle of the nullabour, 80% of the states roads would be a bend in one form or another:bs!: I'm with you guys on the education front. Everyone needs to know the limit of their vehicle even if they never have to fully use it.

Bobbin head's a nice place for a get together, just watch the 101 speed humps! I snapped my sauce pipe last time I was there (not literally). I can't make this one but have fun anyhow
