I'm gonna be running a custom made 5.7 Ltr Plenum As for the Gearbox it's gonna be running on OS Giken Cross mission gears and all rebuild with all new nissan parts. Suspension is stabilize by aftermarket castor rods, tie rods, Tomei Traxx LSD, Tein Coilovers, Whiteline front and rear swaybars. Tyres are Azenis 215/45/17 Brembo F50 Calipers By the way It will be RWD. Anything else i might need? Thank you guys so much for your time!

Ah damn all this time i thought you were into Drag lol! What kw at the wheels are you making at the moment using the RB30 NA crank? Hm i think for ECU i guess i have no choice but to go for the Motech M800.

Can you actually tell me what you have done to the bottom end? and how much it costed you? Because i'm trying to source out places that does the strengthening of the RB30 NA crank. They do like Shot peened, polished the crank, work on block and that around $4000..Wondering if it's possible for me to get it cheaper.

Some how i think 15-20k is not enough to make an engine all that tough...but it sure is good enough for me when i'm only looking to 550kw at the wheels including NOS. Yeah the car will be set up for mainly drag races but occasionally 1 or 2 nights on the street that is why i want to use the HKS T04Z because i'm thinking with the 3L capacity boost shouldn't be too laggy. But hell is gonna be a monster. It's too bad that HKS don't make a 3L V-cam system and only the 2.8L kit. How much BHP are you making so far on the REV I Beam rods?

I think the Microtech compares to the Motec is not as bad as you think, it's enough to do it's job. But if i can get it for around 3k then i'll definitely go for it then.

Thanks r33_racer, As much as i love the versatility of the motec if the Microtech can do almost a good job then i would rather go for the Microtech and spend the extra cash towards building the engine. My budget for building the engine is roughly up to 15k.

I"m looking at building an RB26/30 but the block is NA one and aiming for about 500rkwk + NOS. reading through topic it seems the SPOOL rods is the best value for money for which i might go for. But what's the choice on the REV I beams rod from www.hioctaneracing.com? I'll be using the new HKS TO4Z with 63T A/R 1.00. 1.With this combination i would like to know which FORGIES would be a good matching, at the same time a good value for money and brings the compresstion ratio to its standard form of 8.5:1 or 8.6:1? 2. What size head gaskets and which type would suit this? 3. what would be the best combination for camshafts choice of duration and lifts for both inlet and exhaust to bring the boost earlier and at the same time allow for higher redline RPM say of 10 000? 4. I'm in sydney where's a good place to get porting the head, nitride, balance, crack test, blue print, o-ring, stress relieve and some other methods of strengthening the durability of the head, crank and block done? How much should i be looking at? 5. In regards to ECU what do you think of the Microtech? as Motec M800 is alittle out of my reach. Thanks

I've been trying to get a hold of the person i bought these from as to whether it's for a series 1 or 2. But i've rung a few workshops and they say it will able to fit either by change the angel sensor on them. So if it's for a series 1 and you're trying to fit a series 2 then get the angle sensor from series 1. Which shouldn't be much an expensive job to do. Although at the end of the cams there is one round pins sticking out..not sure if that gives any indication if it's a series 1 or 2 or not

Yes these are 2nd hand..But i don't see any different in Brand new or 2nd hand when it comes to camshafts as long as the duration is there it will do it's job. And no head modification required as these are straight bolt on because they are 8.5mm lifts only. It will add an extra 20-30kw easily to your stock engine. These are rare and i don't think HKS make them anymore. Usually at 264 they have a higher lifts of around 9.0mm+ or something which requires you to modify your RB25 head to solid lifters.

LAST POSTING. DON'T MISSED OUT!! $800ono 264 cams with 8.5mm lift For RB25DET series 1 and 2. Located near Liverpool NSW. 0423 736 279 I've seen these cams on an R33 they sound so damn good! and yet good for everyday road and weekend drags too!...I just don't understand why people are not so keen with it. It's so hard finding this duration with this lifts on a HKS cams. It's a straight Bolt on people!! Unfortunately there is no HKS sign on there except for the end of the Lobe indicating the duration and lifts.

I have a rebuild R32/R33/R34 turbo that i need to sell to get a bigger turbo. I haven't had a chance to put this on yet but the guy that i bought it from told me that is should be able to handle 15-18psi fines. Might just be able to handle more though..but can't guarantee that. anyway it's freshly rebuilding with steel wheels and new bush bearings. $380 + Shipping or arrange pick up if in local Sydney area SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PRICE DROP!!!! 2nd POSTING AND LAST POSTING AS IF THERE IS NO PURCHASE I WILL PUT IT ON MY CAR THEN I FInally made up my mind and to go for a higher Duration camshafts instead as my project change and going into a more drag style These are 8.8 lift which is a straight drop in for the RB25. Gives you a really nice grunt to your engine but yet not so hard and still smooth which at the same time gives you power all throughout from low to top end. This HKS 264 degrees cams are becoming rare as mostly you will find are 256 and 260. If you're looking for that good grunt to scare people away just leave it at 264 and have some good top end or for better response and smoother idling just turn it down to 260. It's all in excellent condition! you can get roughly an extra 30kw easily with just these. $800 + shipping or pickup is available if you're in the Liverpool,Sydney area.
