My hand brake was engaging as the brakes heated up. This happened after new rear rotors were fitted. Caused an intermittent vibration. Just had to loosen the adjustment.

Anyone ever seen a sports rack fitted to the rail mounts on a M35 with rails along the whole length of the roof ? I want two or three slide adjustable bars so I can carry long materials. I don't want roof(pad) mount as this part of the roof depresses with weight. I have 2001 250t RS Four. cheers

Got tired on the old expanded aluminium so I've used a polished perforated aluminium sheet. Also fitted some new projector lamps in the brake ducts.

I couldn't get more than 15 psi out of my GT3076R problem was stock actuator (genuine Garrett) replaced it with a 18 psi large can actuator from ATP Turbo can get 26 out of it now

Hi all. The MINI forums are a bit slow so Im gonna post my question here. My wifes car is a 2002 model and the plastic wheel arches and skirts keep streaking after the rain. Getting tired of applying trim detailer as it only seems to last a week, and the plastic is becoming pailer too. Would it be successful painting this. Looking at a metallic black. cheers

I little while ago I got quotes for a Monster claw across my bonnet, for $1000 and seriously considered it and still am. I like my music and might start a website soon streaming funk so see my skirts. Anyway, decals are an opportunity for uniqueness, so go for it.

Yep, Engine will be around 40mm higher. You'll need to go front facing plenum and have custom engine mounts made to get a strut brace in.

If it's only the bumper $1416 sounds a bit rich . Sounds like a good excuse to get a wicked new front spoiler... Get one that can house a 100 mm mother FMIC

I went for Plazmaman plenum and 72mm throttle body. 570 injectors Gt3076R 256 Poncams Rb25/30 450 RWHP Injectors are maxed though, but enough power for GTS-T streeter Super responsive Brilliant feel/control on throttle You can check out my dyno on page 5 RB30 results post #91

You can get mini GPS trackers on Ebay for $50. Just get a prepaid sim card with 365 days expiry for $30 That's it. They are rechargeable or you can wire them to your battery. Comes with PC software for tracking. So you can pole (call) it anytime and the location is sent to your phone or PC. I think each time is the same charge as an sms. Gotta be the cheapest way for tracking. If you're mainly worried about drive off theft, and only drive a couple times a year, disconnect your battery and pull some key fuses out.

Well I found a new one on Ebay through Nationwide Radiators. It's the same core size but the pad fittings are bigger than what I have. Now we have to source a different dryer or drill out my one. Then have to source an adapter for the discharge to a thread connection. High Gate Car Care make some but still awaiting confirmation on the right size. This was the ONLY condenser I could find in Oz, sadly Nationwide know f**k all about what they are selling so I'm gonna be stuck with a massive bill trying to get this to work. if your condenser goes, consider fitting a slightly smaller one like a 200 SX, then adapt it. No one appears to be importing R33 condensers anymore or making them locally to spec. Remember to check pad fitting diameters, that's why I can't get a refund as we already installed it.

You gotta go with a 3.0 bottom end. F^^%$#@! torque monster. I picked one up from a VL for $380 at the wreckers If you''re after more than 300 rwkw, go forged internals. The 3.0 is quite serious, so think medium sized turbo as a minumum. 3076R or bigger Go large AR exhaust housing if you go 3076. I have RB25 head and kept VCT with Tomei Poncams. 540 bhp , soon to go water meth or NOS for 600. Peak torque at 4500 rpm and peak power at 6000 rpm For a street car, everyones reaction is FMD ( f**k Me Dead!)

Exactly what my mechanic said to me when I was considering bigger injectors. It means, plenum off to get to them, so pretty big job. Then more boost which will probably start to waiver and cause more wheel spin in 1st and 2nd. The car is tuned so well, I'd hate to change it. Low down response is awesome, but it lacks a little power for high speed overtaking, ( on the track of course ). So looking at a progressive injection set up to work with the Haltech. Still educating myself in the NOS advice forum. Thanks again.

Thanks for all that info. Yep car is built forged bottom end, Poncams, and Plazaman plenum. Exhaust is stock ex manifold to 3 inch. Intercooler has 2.5 either side. 3076 is 0.82 Ar, should have gone 1.06. Running 21 psi now, does have more in it. it does feel like its choking at high rpm

I don't drag it. I'm hoping for a setup which the Haltech can introduce Nos only in certain gears , revs and at WOT. But right now my injectors are maxed , my intercooler has 2 1/2 in and out, and I'm running stock manifold. Will I still get anything more with NOS ?

Ok, I feel my GTS-T is feeling a little neglected so I'm considering a 100 hp shot of NOS on demand on WOT. RB25/30 - GT3076R - Haltech Platinum 2000. 337 rwkw. Good move ?, or should I save the dollars and wait until my kids pillage it all.
