  1. Hi, I'm currently preparing list of modifications to setup for the track days however, noticed there were two (2) GReddy oil coolers on nengun.com for R33 GTS-T (http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/oil-cooler-kit-nissan). Just pondering whats the difference between the two, as 'NS1310G' is roughly $100 more than 'NS1010G'? Kind Regards, johnsta2k
  2. True true, but it sucks to be paid every forth night though gonna go and start looking for my parts
  3. Thanks guys, guess I concluded to have a forged rebuild and will note to leave some money for the miscellaneous parts. By the way YAWN saw your R32 at Chasers Motorworks couple days ago, looks hot
  4. Sweet but, for future reference when would I need to consider them?
  5. N1 pump, is it necessary to include them? I presume its water and oil?
  6. I'll probably pass on this, I know a fair amount of money is involved labour wise but, in the end I do want to keep the car for awhile (few more years) so getting everything brand new is the direction I want to follow.
  7. Hrmm, will give this option ago as well and see what I can dig up. While I'm at it might search for RB26 LOL!!
  8. Yeah I want to make a smart investment ("not going silly") and do intend to have a turbo upgrade (HKS GT-RS) down the track preferably after the rebuild. At the moment in relations to the forged I do have two options as I can see: 1) regular forged or 2) stroker kit I guess not having a budget does create this drama but, any opinion you fellas advocate will be much appreciated!
  9. RB30? hehe I actually haven't searched into that option yet however, I did considered a stroker 2.8l kit Some were emphasizing the fact that mine isn't a dedicated race car (hence, waste of investment unless I'm trying to squeeze every kw ), while others were encouraging to get it.
  10. i agree but, do you believe it would be such a waste/overkill having top notch engine components on a daily driven vehicle?
  11. Hello I know these typical engine rebuilds threads have been covered numerous of times however, I personally just want to obtain others' perspective. As per topic, my engine is experiencing some 'bearing' issue(s) at the moment and decided to rebuild bottom-end however, weighing factors between a forged and standard I'm having dramas finalizing. My aim for the vehicle in terms of power output would be a solid 250kw or so, is a daily driven for work, uni and I intend to keep it for awhile. If budget was not a matter of concern, which type of rebuild would you prefer and why? Thanks in advance
  12. haha hey i got em rims as well XD nice work on the cosmetic part ^^

  14. just a quick question, usually how much are the split dump pipes fellas? kind regards, johnsta
  15. sup fellas just couple days ago i had new rotor disc. ( dba 4000 series xs; entire set ) also ultimate bendix braking pads fitted ( entire set ) onto my r33 gtst... however whilst slowing down my braking system makes those irritating noises ( the ones that your ears cant handle )... is there a way to immune this situation? there isnt any problem with the braking system itself ( works just fine ) however it jst the noise which is the main concern... its driving me insane and causes so much attention ( louder than my sound system haha!! ) kind regards, johnsta2k
  16. sweet as... thanks for all your replies helped heaps
  17. sup fellas! here's the situation... im currently trying to make my car (R33 GTST S1) reliable much as i can by replacing/installing all those small things... and below are the things that ive done so far: * exhaust system (no dump atm) * air pod with a s/steel intake pipe inside a carbon induction box * fmic * oil cooler * bov * oil catch can * heavy duty timing belt * air diversion plate * new rotors & braking pads * new battery are there anything else worth replacing in order make my vechile more reliable before moving to the next stage with bigger turbos, ecu etc?! i jst wanna make all those lil preps to avoid any possible problems later on
  18. o.O how are you meant to get permits fellas? (sorry still new to all these legal BS!!)
  19. mmhmm well from what i heard... chu can have any sort of gauges places anywhere only "within" your vechile... and so the external ones aren't consider road worthy
  20. haha!! ahhh i had similar incidents like that before somewhere in hawthorn LOL... as you know if you're on the way home from (back to city) hawthorn the roads are tight since you got cars parked on the left lanes... anyhow some brick was driving real dayum slow (right lane) so i decided to over take him... and FFS he's speeds up knowing that in the far distance there are like parked cars (left lane) zomg this was so lame... had to rip it up to like 120km JUST managing to pass the cars w/o damaging my own x.x
  21. hey waddup fellas, im intending to upgrade my ecu sometime next year however im not much of a car enthusiast (in terms of technical) so please reply in a manner that it would be easy to understand hehe >.< anyways between a GReddy Ultimate and Microtech (dunno which model atm) which would be more preferable and why? p.s. thanks in advance jt, cheers!
