  1. Hey everyone, We all know how bad the Falken 326's have been. I have been lucky or unlucky depending which way you look at it to get 26,000kms from my rears. They are due for replacement and it has been suggested that the 329's are a vast improvement over the superseeded 326's. Has anyone tried these and are they any better? Look forward to hearing your replies. Cheers Chris
  2. Im pretty sure Karman sensors have nothing to do with Nissan Airflow meter equipped cars. My Old SAFC blue screen has the wire for Karman readings but it doesnt get hooked up. Please correct me if im wrong. Cheers Chris
  3. Get it fixed pronto mate otherwise it will be an expensive intercooler install. Good luck Chris
  4. Hey mate did you get my PM? I will give it a clean and take some photos ASAP for you. Chris
  5. I agree both cars are good and if you can afford a GTR and the maitenence associated with it go for it They are well designed cars. My last response is whatever the topic starter decides to buy make sure he gets it throughly checked out so he has a good base to start with. Cheers Chris
  6. See jumping the gun again are we mate? I have driven both 32 GTR and a 34GTT and I can comment just as you are. Doesnt matter if it came with all the fruit that your brothers car did cars straight of the showroom floor can have problems from day one this is what is called a "lemon" K's have nothing to do with it. And Coil pack problems are common in 34's its no secret. Chris
  7. As someone has already said if you love your GTR so much why sell it and move down to a GTST? I apprecitate both Models on there own merrits as do alot of people as at the end of the day they are both called a "skyline" Chris
  8. They didnt go back to 2WD technology for the GTT the GTT is the newer version of the Gtst NOT a GTR which has always been 2WD. No one has ever said they are better than GTR shocks but these springs and shocks are 15+ years old if still factory. a 7+ year old would be in better condition then the later. And when I mean condition im talking bout things being weathered and falling apart from age not just the way the car has been driven. Wrong again the Rb25 didnt come out till the R33 the RB26 was sold along side the RB20 in R32 guise so there for the production life of the motor is longer than the 25. Im not talking about when the were designed as there were probably designed round the same time and the RB25 is just an RB20 with increased capacity and a few little extras etc but the motor is still younger in a production point of view. Chris
  9. Dont get me wrong they a lovely cars and yes I have driven one and know the pleasures of a "Cult" car im just saying a younger model car is going to have less problems then an older model. At the end of the day it depends on what he wants and the pro and cons of both. Really the only way for him to decide is to drive both. I love GTR's as much as any Nissan enthusiast does. Chris
  10. One is as you said a "group A" car and one is GT tourer so yeah they are worlds apart but my point is at the end of the day the are 15+ years older and most of the ones that havent been rebuilt as of yet arnt going to be far off it and your kidding yourself if you think it was babied in Japan cause the all cop a hiding. They cant be too bad a car if your considering "downgrading" to a gtst or silvia can they? I would consider it a downgrade unless as Col said it was a 33 series 2 or 3. Chris
  11. Your wrong the brakes are the same my friend has a 90's model GTR and I have a 97 Gtst and the only difference is the cross drilled discs everything else is the same. Its the same as the 350z they put the 34 GTR brembos in and it doesnt have the same power output. Also if you love your 32 GTR so much why have that for sale and buy a 34GTT? Cheers Chris
  12. Would be interested in a 33, 34 non turbo 4 door automatic too. Cheers Chris
  13. 300's are great cars to squirt around town etc as the have a large capacity engine and small turbos but they do run out of puff up the top. Having said that they are nice looking cars especially the later models 1996 etc but if you buy one I hope you have deep pockets as they can be expensive to fix. Cheers Chris
  14. This car was imported for a mature couple and was sold to a friends parents who in turn sold it to me to upgrade to an R34. I change the oil and filter every 5,000ks with Mobil 1 Gearbox Oil was changed at Clutch replacement Radiator was flushed at 100,000k service Just had a suspension check done and everything seems to be in perfect working order. I have reciepts for absolutely EVERYTHING and have the log book of when everything was done even down to the oil changes. This Car has been well looked after and IF i decide to sell it will be a great car for its future owner. Im looking for around 16-17k or if anyone was interested in a trade im open to offers.
