yeah im willing to bet its a dirty AFM or it may be on the blink. Happened to my friends GTR and he couldnt rev past 3000rpm. But his problem was it wasnt connected properly.
Good luck
Chris
Seriously guys if we dont reply in here he will get the hint. Only reason he keeps coming back is cause he is getting a bite out of us. After reading this thread and the other links to previous threads I agree he probably doesnt have a skyline but hey its probably envy or jealousy that we do so I reckon its the reason why he is lashing out at everyone who says he doesnt have one.
The truth always hurts.
And to answer your question yes they cost money and it all depends on how you treat them. I am due for replacement shocks on mine which ill probably be going coilovers and my clutch is slipping too which I have bought a replacement one but have had a lack of funds to put it in this month.
My advice to you would be start off on something a little less valuble and learn how to drive properly first before you jump into a potentialy fast car and hurt yourself.
You have to learn to crawl before you can walk.

I use mobil 1 and usually let it idle for about 2-3 minutes till the temp gauge and oil gauges move then I drive off boost till the temp gauge settles at its usual spot.
Its not just the belt that needs replacing the tensioners really need to be done as well. Plus if your going to do it you may as well get the water pump replaced for peace of mind.
Sounds like mine. It slips up higher but seems to be ok with normal driving. I ended up just buying an Exedy clutch off the forums and ill put it in when i have some spare dosh.
This thread is a right laugh, Keep it up guys entertaining read at work. And for the record 32 GTRs decent ones are around the price your suggesting so I dunno where your going to get a 33 from at that price.
Chris
When you checked your throttle position did you select the arrow up or down? Its in the screen where you select the number of cylinders your car has.
Chris
Mate just been informed that you hook it up to the sensor with the strongest single according to the safc2 book. Might be an idea to PM predator on this one.
My friend asked this question a couple of days ago on here and his answer was that you need to wire it up to both as each wire on the ECU runs 3 cylinders. So you need to wire the SAFC wire up to both.
Cheers
