  1. It really depends on what catches your eye more. They both perform very similar stock. Personally I went for a 33 but I wanted a series 2 as there are so many series 1's on the road and its hard to look different in a 33. Having said that in my area I very rarely see a 32 on the road or 32 GTR for that matter considering how many were imported in under the 15yr rule.
  2. I had a similar problem and it ended up being the reverese switch on the gearbox was damaged. It caused all types of weird problems some of which yo are having. Id suggest getting to to an auto elec ASAP. Lucky for me I replaced the switch and the battery cause it drained it beyond charging. Also my alternator was a 50/50 chance of working again too luckly it wasnt stuffed though.
  3. I see you a fan of the Beastie Boys!
  4. And you own an s13 RB26 too?

  7. dunno but I might be keen to buy.
  8. Go to 7tune.com It has info on the next skyline there. As I said if you want to know the inof PM Rezz he has alot of knowledge on the new Skylines as he was living in Japan too. Hope this helps
  9. I personally love the 2 doors I didnt to start with but the shape has grown on me. Its not a poor attempt at the Skyline legacy its simply building a car that would suit a worldwide market. Previous Skylines were designed and sold for Japanese consumers. The V36 is apparently meant to look alot better. If you want any more info search for a guy called Rezz he is like the god of new Skyline information. Cheers

  13. is the coil failure due to heat or moisutre?? just curious as a friend of mine had the same problem.
  14. I just got my 33 done the other week and I replaced the timing belt water pump and tensioner pully. I also found out while everything was out that the idler bearing was stuffed and needed replacing too. Unfortuantely I had to use a genuine one and from nissan they cost $280. The radiator was removed flushed and topped up with new coolant. I was extremely happy with the work done and if your unsure or not mechanically minded its probably easier to get it done by a workshop. Cheers
