You have the non turbo suspension which makes sense since yours is non turbo. You will find it harder to find suspension that will fit your car. Having said that your car is pretty rare being a four door gt-four your first person I have met that has one.
Well guys got my dreamcast and scored House of the dead 2, Metropolis Street Racer, Virtua Tennis, Ready 2 Rumble Round 2 and Power Stone 2. If anyone wants to trade games post in hear or PM me.
Cheers
look under your car at the rear and check if the shockies have a horsehoe end or a complete circle end. if its a circle GTT suspension will not fit. turbo and non turbo suspension are different. except the GTV model. my guess is its the same as all other non turbos.
Yeah my problem is im on dialup at home so downloading is sorta out of the question for the time being. Yeah I loved shenmue too looking to aquire them at some stage as well. There was one going on ebay but I hadnt won the machine yet so there was no point.
I did whoever manage to get my hands on house of the dead 2 and metropolis street racer.
I've been following dumheads build up on nissansilvia for years. he surely knows his stuff and has a well setup car. There is another guy on there with an s14 motor running a similar setup but with a SAFC instead of a power fc I think his username was boodies or something.
There his words not mine if he was talking about RB20, RB25 NA's I would of had no reason to respond because I would agree but in his post which I have quoted over and over he said "any NA"
And as for the stupidest comment and calling him stupid they are two totally different things obviously you dont have the smarts to figure that out.
I agree it is wasteland material
End rant.
Yeah I do champ and if you read the quote he stated "any NA car" and in no way did he mention an NA skyline which is why I still stand behind my post of saying stupidest comment ever. Me listing other engine transplants was to open up your eyes that there are other NA engines out there that can come up with good useable power. The power challenged comment was directed at my car saying I have gone from turbo to NA and MY car is power challenged. Maybe YOU should comprehend what you you are reading before typing a rebuttle.
And not once in my post did I call him stupid so dont quote things that wernt said.
As for the mike tyson comment well we will leave that as is I think.....
That has to be the stupidest comment I have ever seen here and just shows how narrow minded you actually are.
Before you bag me out and say you own an NA you dont know what your on about. I had a lightly modified Series 2 R33 Gts25t which would of put out around 200rwkw so I have driven both and know what they are like. Sure the NA lacks power etc but it still is a skyline to drive and it behaves exactly like my previous car, just power challenged.
The reason I got rid of it as I couldnt of been bothered to buy a cheap runabout as it was my daily driver and im saving for a house so the toy needed to go. And id take a NA Skyline anyday over a Commodore or Falcon
Having said that I have seen a s13 with a modifed s14 NA motor in it give the turbo boys a scare. Also check some of the threads around here with the RB30DE build ups as they seem to be getting some respectable power or check out the 33 with the infinity V8 in it he made some good power when it was still NA. My point is turbos arnt the only route to making power.
If you install it yourself you can put the money you would be using towards the tune. There not that hard to do if you have a steady hand with a soldering iron. Its a matter of wiring it up to your airflow meter wire then all the extra wires that it monitors such as rpm throttle etc. Predator has a DIY on here that he has made very easy for people to follow give it a read and see if you are confident or not to install it yourself.
If its ticking near the turbo and manifold id say it probably is your gaskets gone. If you havent replaced them previously it could possibly be the original ones.
Welcome mate enjoy your stay here. No doubt any problems that may arise with your car will be answered on this forum. There are alot of knowledgeble people here that are more than too happy to help a fellow skyline owner out.
Now we have that out of the way post some pics of your new ride!
reason I ask is the price difference between the two is pretty substantial. as for specs the GT has 147kw at 6000rpm and 255nm at 4000rpm. not 100% sure on the s2000 but I think from memory they had 176kw and 208nm.
