Early Rb26, Rb25 Clutches Same?
J'z-R33 replied to DanShirts's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Early R32 GTRs were Push, late model R32 GTR's were Pull. All R33 GTSTs were push from the factory. All R33 R34 GTR's (and R34 GTT's) were Pull from the factory. Over time the owners could've changed them to Push so best to get under there and have a look... An easy way to tell is: if the slave sits on the rear side and pushes forward it's a pull. if the slave sits on the front and pushes towards the rear of the car it's a push. Even if you bought the wrong type of clutch you can easily convert it from pull to push with a few parts. New folk, slave, and release/carier bearing. Hope this helps, Cheers, Johno -
Hey guys, Little brother is looking for a R32 GTR or GTS-4 with either a blown motor or no motor. It must have nsw rego. Little rust is ok, must be straight. Shoot me a PM if you have one fitting this criteria. Cheers Johno

Hey all, Looking for a bit of advise and experience.. I recently picked up a needle bearing to replace a worn bronze spigot bush. Looking at the needle bearing its great quaility etc but my only concern is the rollers becoming dry and failing. Has anyone used the needle bearing before and how many kms has it been in the car for? Cheers Johno

Hey Mike, Theres a "What to look for when buying a skyline DIY" on here check out the link below.. I found it very helpful when I was buying mine. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html Once its passed your own checks take the car to a performance workshop in your area and ask them to do a once over.. make sure they do a compression test and leak down test. Yes it will cost you a bit of $$ to get it done but it might save you buying someone elses problems... Good luck with your search mate and welcome to the SAU community. Cheers Johno
