Hey mate, The E6x is a Stand alone with internal map sensor, 1 bar vacum, 1.5bar boost.. The only skyline specific plug and play/patch looms are for the E11V2. So the E6x you would need to wire it in yourself with the flying lead kit. Honestly on a Skyline you'd want to be running an E11V2.. best advise I can give you is to give Haltech a call and discuss the E6x option with them. Cheers Johno

I didnt notice the clutch being any heavier.. I believe its a balancer but if you go braided just rip the whole thing out. -
Hey guys, bought these a week or so ago but they are no longer needed. Got an offer on haltech I couldnt pass up so gonna be running map sensors.. they came off a r34 vspec and only had a few thousand kms. comes in original boxes with nismo certification. Price is $550.. delivered. Cheers, Johno

I was discussing this with Rob from RIPZ not that long ago.. this is his responce to my email regarding the topic. "IMO what most people call response is more "how quick my turbo spools up" rather than the slightly better respose hat is directly related to the 6 throttles themselves. "On throttle response" is more related to turbo selection, intercooler plumbing, cam timing, mapping etc as when you open the throttle with either arrangement, the intercooler plumbing, plenim and intake tract needs to build up boost just the same (seeing as the BOV has dumped all boost in the system when you previously off throttled). "Off throttle response" (or how quickly you get engine braking) will be better with the 6 throttles as the engine dosn't have to consume the contents of the plenim before it creates vaccum but in all honesty when you back off at 7000rpm+ the motor is using so much air and it all happens so fast I dought you'd notice a difference there either. You will notice a difference for the better in a circuit situation where your on and off it constantly and where small throttle position changes through corners will control boost, response and drivability for the better. Having said that, we always use single TBs with our drift motors where response is the key and with the right turbo the response is great, they are simple and easy to tune so I suppose it is a matter of personal choice rather than being able to quantify the differences on an otherwise identicle engine." Boost Control Solenoid The Haltech boost control solenoid allows the user to map boost pressure levels on turbocharged vehicles through the engine management system. Haltech uses a highly durable short stroke solenoid to increase durability, longevity and of course accuracy of the valve. A high force spring return is used to produce swift valve closing and to prevent valves "blowing" open under high boost applications. Valve movement control (Duty Cycle) map is accessed via the ECU programming software. Raising the duty cycle increases boost pressure, while lowering the duty cycle will reduce boost pressure. The boost control feature allows boost response adjustment for varying turbo sizes.
