i recently bought a r33 gtst it has a cat back exhaust system on it and i find its very quiet is it because its only from the cat back or ? ive heard alot of other skylines which sound alot louder then mine im kinda new to skylines so any info would be great thnx

my dad got me my first car the other day a r33 for 18 im only 16 but the next car i get wil defintely be out of my own pocket -

i been searching around forums and you all know im new here and new to skylines and turbos,could anyone explain or direct me to a thread that explains both what boost is how it works, and psi i read in a number of threads ppl changing psi etc really wanna know what it is and how boost gauges work sorry if i sound like a newbie but id really like to know thnx

dans right i didnt start this thread however i really do take your advice seriously about a week ago my dad got me a r33 from paul at autoworx we wil be picking it up in around 2-3 weeks just getting finance and insurance sorted

thnx for your replys just hope u dont think im gonna be a hooner.and why would i want to thrash around a nice car on streets if anything it will be sumwhere legal eg kwinana or a race track.and yea i know karts are alot differnt the class i race in do up to around 120kms and they got a damn lot of grip but yea thnx alot for the replys

yep if i had my license earlier i would of joined the autoworx group there having one of them defensive driving days on the 8th but wont be able to hav it b ythen but ill book a day sum other time ill try and gather sum friends who got there licenses but thnx for the reply

yeayea ok ... im notexactly going to sell the car now and buy another so im gonna hav to live with it and ialso plan to do one of them defensive driving courses paul from autoworx recomended use one where they teach u what to do in differnt situations which he said is a great learning experience so i will take his advice and do it

hmm ive had alot of harsh and not very nice comments ever since i joined these forums getting quite put off althoug u seem there only comments and yes i hav my learners why else would i buy a car ? and i know they are powerfull cars paul at autoworx explained that and he knows i hav raced karts for a long time now so has he and he thinks it will help alot with handling powerfull cars

yea it is under my dads name only way to keep the price down i guess however it only has minor mods funny thing is i dont even hav my friggin license yet .....

getting the car is easy finding isurance is the hard part im only 16 just purchased a skyline from autoworx yesterday still looking for insurance however best quote was $2800 from just car. gonna start modding it once a get a job soon
