a friend gave me the idea of using some sort of fencing/chicken wire and pressing it onto the dash the make the shape of the dash, then using al foil inside the wire then glassing. im not going to be using any of the air vents so i dont have to worry about the complex shape for them good idea?

the gearbox mount would need 2 small steel plates welded on, others might do it differently as the holes from the mount to the chassis is about an inch or 2 different, as with tail shaft you will need the rb25 gbox yoke and get it measured and have a driveshaft place to make up a tailshaft for ya

need to modify gearbox mount and a custom tail shaft. othen then that everything else should bolt in and a bit of wiring too

same same, oil press, oil temp and water temp, the stock water temp gauge is wack, you could be at 100degrees and the stock gauge will still be in the middle

im thinking of making it light weight now, any ideas on how to use the dash as the mould? was thinking al foil and some type of mold release to make a fiberglass mold, then the mold release on the inside of the mould then glassing the inside. if you understand what i mean

i am still able to get it on with a little force, but i dont like that idea, im a little fussy hehe, i guess i will just diegrind out the holes bigger. or is there a place i can get them filled up and retapped again? or is that going to cost too much??

hey hey hey, i got myself in a bit of a pickle i replaced all the manifold studs on my 20 head and i am guessing when i retapped them i didnt do it straight now the stock manifold doesnt line up to the studs. what can i do??? thanks

hey hey peeps i have pulled out the dash out of my 180sx, and it has the usual cracks and stuff. i have been thinking of laying some fiberglass over it and while i am at it have my gauges molded in just wondering what the go with this, i have notice that there is a layer of foam under the vinyl so i was thinking of just cracking off all the vinyl and just soaking some resin and a layer of mat on top of the foam also been thinking of getting it carbon fiber if possible im not trying to get a show effect here just neat as this is my drift car thanks all

hmmm yeah, the engine is going to be used in my 180sx for drifting, i am just trying to weigh up if it worth it all in the end

hey boys and girls i am thinking of buying a rb25 for dirt cheap, and all that is wrong with it is low comp in no 5, suspected rings or ring lands what are my chance with this motor, could i just replace rings and pistons and it will be all good? on the comp test it was 70 and with wet test 90 any help would be great thanks Gordon

got BCP6ES from repco, there are 2 different types there is the ones that have the -11 which is 1.1 gap other with nothing next to the number is 0.8 gap

i am after a non hicas power steering pump for a ca or an rb20 powersteering pump with bracket with the hicas hose blocked off this is for my rb20 180 sooo yeahh

hey my power steering pump out of my 180 started to leak through pulley side and i have been told i can get a power steering rebuild kit for it, been told to ring up veales, i did that yesterday and they told me they dont do anything like that, so i am like huh. anyone know where i can get a rebuild kit locally as i dont really have time to wait for stuff from over seas thanks
