  10. have roughly the same probs with my 32 i am just saving some money for z32 afms. im not sure if the car will run in limp mode with the power fc. but with the factory ecu it runs in limp mode when the afm plugs are unplugged. it basically runs a base map. but i dont think the power fc can go on limp mode

  13. have you recieved a letter asking you to hand in your plates? cause the date on the yellow will be different to the date of actually having to hand in your plates. when the yellow expires i think you have another 2 weeks or more i think but you cant drive the car unless you are going to the pit. this happen to me when i got the letter it gave a date when they should be handed in etc etc. then i finally got the report a day before i had to hand the plates in. should be ok if you can find another car to drive around in

  18. hey guys and girls. i am planing on drifting my 180 for the first time on the next drift practise in feb. would like some idea on what i should bring and how much of it also how much is it going to cost me, i will be going to all the drift practises throughout the year thanks Gordon
  19. hey man i just got that link from one of my topics i had about a year ago when i was trying to get my yellow off. you can try search engineer on there or you could ask the pits to give ya the list
  20. from what i remember what i did with my 26 conversion. i filled in that form they gave you, then after that they asked for it to get engineer to look at it. when i had the engineer look at i still had the standard gtst breaks and i just told the engineer that the break between each model are pretty much the same size. the engineer cert i got was for my coilovers, rb26, and my bride seats. for some reason they didnt give me one for my intercooler, i am guessing that it could be because the gtrs came standard with front mounts. http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/lic_IB...ngiSig_2007.pdf this should be the list of engineers i went through Don Stevens i think he is on the second page. he also came to me to inspect the car

  23. hey guys and gals. been trying to think what is going on with my rb20 180. i can have the car running with the afm unplugged but when i plug the afm in it would either just stall or still run for a lil while then stall when throttle is appiled. i have used 3 ecus and 3 afm and they all had the same prob how do you check that the wiring for the afm is faulty

  25. ok ok, on my rb20 180sx, it is very hard to start when its cold, here how it goes first crank, engine will just turn second, engine will turn with some sound of it firing third, this time with foot flat on the acc it will fire up cough a lil then stall forth, same thing but try to play with the acc lil fith and sixth, pretty much just play with the throttel till it actually starts. once its warm its much easier to start but i still have to give it a lil throttel tho. sooo any ideas
