  1. how do you reset idle with a power fc, just unplug the acc and adjust idle to 800-900rpm then plug it back in

    i did a compression test on my rb 180sx and i got 120-130psi through all 6, does sound tired?
  3. hey guys and girls, just wondering will a flat battery screw up my tune on my power fc????
  4. yeah well i got an rb26 in my 32 so the acc is a mission to get to. will have a go when i have time.
  5. i was heading home after the post office was at the lights, lights go green clutch in, 1st gear then it just stalled, clutch was still down after that started her up she started straight away then stalled again, so i gave it some throttle to keep it going. so on the drive home giving it throttle was running rough and if i let the revs drop it will stall. so when i got home i let it stall, hand brake up left if for about 10secs or so with the key still on "on" started her up and she was idling normally, dont know about driving tho. weird innit?? what would of just happen?

  9. my tein super streets jap specs on my 32 are permitted, also my bride brix II seats are too. what about gauges, always getting told off because obstucting view (when its on the A piller), have you seen other peeps with their big arse gps right in the middle of the windscreen also why do cops say you need permits for just about everything you have changed in your car where only a small percentage of the mods need permits on my 32 on my form i filled it out for, rb26, brides, coilovers, pods, oil cooler, front mount, strut braces, steering wheel, exhaust. and all that need appoval was, the rb26, seats and coilovers well thats all that was said on my permits.

  12. hmmmm, for dropping the 25 on, your flywheel of the the 20 will fit the 25, if your keeping the 20 box no need to modify the tail shaft and when you are going to go 25 box, got to change the speedo sensor there is a topic on this on the diy section there is also a section there about a 25 conversion. as for licensing i paid around 340+pit visits (i got yellowed for my 26) to get it all engineered
  13. this is the problem, the po po can pretty much say anything, they could be assuming this thing about the 19inch+ rule only way to find out is through the pits or the dpi.

  15. this is much as i know r32 crossmember, r32 engine mounts with r32 enginemount brackets. guessing you would be using a rb25 box the gbox mount would need to be modified also the speed sensor would need to changed on the gbox, also custom tailshaft. that is about as much as i know to get the engine there. will also need thermo fans as the clutch fan will not fit as for wiring i dont have a clue lol, would help if ya had the rb25 wiring loom.
  16. well i got the car started in limp mode, after changing the injectors. when the afm was connected it was doing the same thing, so i changed it to my old afm which was working on my old rb20 and still that same, is there a way to figure out a fault in the wiring to the afm??
  17. spark plugs are new, i have tried throttle still the same. when i have the time i will try the pump out of my 32 and if still doesnt work i will be pretty sure it will be injectors. thing is i took the cas out and spun the shaft to check if injectors where working. i spun it quite a bit so there would of been a fair bit of fuel in there. after that tried to start it again and it started for a bit longer like another 2 sec or so. how many cylinders that fire that can actually keep the car going, i am thinking that some of the injectors are bit blocked as not spraying enogugh fuel. (if someone could educate me on that)
  18. no difference. i forgot to metion that the car wasnt running a fuel filter when i got it, i have installed a fuel filter now, could the injectors be blocked??
  19. could too much fuel cause it to die straight after starting???
  20. better off finding the signal from the ecu, more accurate that way, could find the ecu pin out somewhere, try a search

  22. when i start the car, it fires and starts, but as soon as it starts just stalls could it be fuel pump, it seems to be fine as i took the hose off and put it in a bottle and seemed to be flowing fuel pretty fast i was thinking it could be fuel reg, so i blocked the return line and try to start, same thing now i am wondering if it could be the fuel relay, could it be possible? should i try give the fuel pump straight 12v from battery then try start? AFM, car will start if i unplug it right?
  23. hey guys and girls i now have a 180sx which is my third car alone with my R32 and Swift, this is going to be my track car i havnt got room at home for the 180 does anyone have a spare carpark i could hire or know of any car storage SOR (near gosnells) that would be great. Thanks
