Want To See Where You Rims Sit With Size And Offset ! (a31)
CEF replied to 2gceffy's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Here are the wheel specs and tire size: front- 17x8 +5 offset tires-215x45 rear- 17x9 +10 offset tires 235x40 I just mounted the front earlier and it just sticks out about an inch only so now, I opted to have my fenders rolled combined with a camber plate. Dan_J, I'll just roll them since the flares is actually my last resort if rolling won't be enough. Hypnotik, Yeah, I find the flares a bit out of shape for the car as I test fitted some. I prefer the stock looking body with rolled fenders. -

here is my rear wheel sticking out. Im still thinking whether to use flares or just roll the fenders. the rear has a +10 offset. during the time I took the pic, the rear was in a negative toe since the hicas bar has not been installed yet so the wheels doesn't look straight. -
I'm good. Your a pinoy in Australia?

I am replacing my existing work rezax with another same model but with a much wilder offset. My front size is 17x8 +5 offset and rear is 17x9 +10 offset. I've just attached the rears and the wheels sticks out about 1.5" from the stock guards. I'll be placing some flares to just cover the wheels. The front is still in the works as I am waiting for my hubs to have its bearings replaced and i don't know yet how far the front may stick out. I'll get you pics when I get my camera working or maybe use my phone camera for the meantime. -
Funkymoney, Hi. The headlights were released like that over here though I just installed some foglights in it as I don't like using the projector headlight models. The tailights Ihave on right now is from Japan. The a31's we have here have those horizontal lines across. Yes, if you want some RB24 engine pics, I'll surely take some before I take them out in the coming weeks. Headlights...no DOT markings on it. The tailights, I have to check again.

I'll ask my friend who did the swap and get all the necessary info on how he did it and get back to you guys.

Hella Flush, Some wires on the cluster sockets were rewired. daisu, From the setup done to the cefiro with the r33 cluster, everything from the r32 speedo sensors were used since the engine my friend got came very complete with all those.
-
It fits correctly. The only thing with that is the brackets that holds it, it needs to be modified a little. Other than that, everything is good. The cars we have are all LHD and the r32 gauge cluster is for RHD.
-
sorry for the crappy pics but here are some pics of an r33 gauge cluster in an a31. If they are the same then the r32 cluster will fit too. I'll try to take pics of my friends s14 gauge in an a31 for the benefit of those who wants to use it.
-
I sent you a PM.
-
Sure, I'll take a pic of my friends s14 cluster when I see his car later since its undergoing some works. Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can find any rb20de gauge cluster. Do you think any speed from the cluster of other rb20d engines will work too?
-
The a31 efi m/t gauge cluster is so hard to find in my country as all cefiro models that were released here are carbed with an rb24s. A friend of mine fitted an s14 gauge cluster and it looks very seam to the shape of the dashboard except that its a little smaller. The r32 gauge is the only one I can find here that is why I am asking but if there is a way to make my stock non-efi gauge to work with an efi engine then that would be good. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Has anyone tried to fit an r32 gauge cluster on a a31? Does it fit? Thanks in advance.

Guys, I have a 4hole Work Wheels and I was wondering if it is possible or safe to add 4 more holes to the existing 4holes? The reason for this is because I don't want to change my wheel set and I have a 5x114 disc brake setup which I just acquired. The existing 4>114 set up will be converted to fit a 5>114. I was looking under the wheels and the mounting part is sold just like what I see with those dual PCD wheels so I was thinking if its okay to do it. Thanks in advance.

Nice Jerome.

Thanks man!

a31cefiro, The car came manual in our country. The history of the cefiros here is that they were also assembled in Japan but in LHD format. It came here with the clock that you see. heslo, Thanks buddy.

Thank you for the input. Yes, that is what I was thinking also after I saw their site and since they said that they've been in the business since '91 then they could be at par with the other Nissan shop tuners.
-
That is an '89 model. Here is an interior shot.

Thank you so much for your comment. The wheels are 17" Work Rezax, 8" for the front and 9" for the back. Offset is +35 front and +47 rear. The offset is pretty good and the wheels are almost sticking out of the fenders. The car just needs to be lowered a little so as to lessen the gap between the fenders and tires but that will be done after I get all the parts from an r32 I ordered in Japan. It comes with all the goodies that I can put on the car. I'll take pics of the parts as they arrive with me.
-
Thank you for the link. It surely is helpful. Are they good tuners?

Hello. I just got my engine and it comes with this ECU with the Network sticker on it. Is this some kind of tuning shop in Japan that does RB or SR engines? Can anyone enlighten me on this? Do they have a site that i can check on? Thank you in advance.
-
thank you for pointing me to the right direction.

Hello guys. I'm pretty new in posting here but I have been a constant browser of this forum. Here are some pics of my car. The engine is pretty much stock, RB24s and I will be swapping it out with the engine I got awhile back. I will post more pics of it as I do my car. Thank you.
