  1. Pics of it installed, with attention to panel gaps (ALL panel gaps) and general fittment please!!!
  2. Wait........... You have an R32 with standard R32 gearbox, and you needed a custom spacer to be made?!?!?! :D
  3. Yep, I was blown away with the attention to detail. The entire cage is beautifully snug against all the pillars and roof. Peter Muir from Bondy did it for me... Got the introduction and hookup from Steve Thatcher, so I think that helped with the perfectionist result of the job Those front legs had 6 bends each to get them to sit that close... Amazing anal-ness that would rival my own Alan Smith tells me you guys are good mates Tell him to get off his arse and buy Ric Shaw's FD3S...
  4. They're on the wear indicators mate... They don't have 70% tread left.
  5. I present Exhibit A:
  6. Very nice mate Specs on the accusump that you're selling? What model is it? What does your "kit" come with? Cheers
  7. Interesting lines being taken by that GTR
  8. I'll only take it if Kris throws in the picnic rug as well!
  9. I honestly envy you blokes with the money and patience to do such intricate builds on your cars Two heads just to see which one is better??? Porting work matched to compressor maps??? Back-to-back testing of different cam grinds??? Awesome stuff But I guess with that much work, you could get ANY turbo, no matter how mismatched to a stock engine to work nicely.
  10. Three people, three completely different opinions
  11. Who cares? No-one watches TGA anyway
  12. How am I supposed to sneak in and sprinkle metal shavings into the engine if they cover them up???
  13. Where the hicas usually lives? As in the rear of the car? Wouldn't you want the accusump closer to the engine?
  14. Are you running the GT-RS on standard capacity? I had a good day with my car today... It's finally coming back together... Finally finished up all the wiring for electrics (gauges, boost controller, attesa controller, etc... which meant that I could start putting her back together. Soldering with your body contorted around a roll cage isn't the most pleasant thing in the world Is it just me, or does everyone stuff up cutting their first dash to fit around a roll cage? Bit concerned that the speedo, windscreen wipers, and indicator stalk aren't working (hazards are though)... Probably broken speedo cable, which'll be a pain the ass to change just after I put everything back into the car No idea about the indicator stalk or wipers though... Now I just need to: Buy a speedo cable, front windscreen rubbers, ATESSA gyro unit. Install the above, and the oil cooler, oil pressure/oil temp/water temp sensors, Remove the stupid 5% jap limo tint from the windows Get the engine tuned to make the thing drive properly again. And then it should at least be drivable again Then to tackle the two most expensive bits on the car.... Brakes and suspension. <sigh>
  15. Pics of ARC Intercooler? Do you know the measurements? And what power is it rated to? Don't know if I should go for the M073 or M103 core...
  16. This is perfect... Pity they are an American company http://www.prfauto.com/24challengerracerspecial.html
  17. Hey Nick, Would you mind emailing/PM'ing me the exact parts list that you're getting for $6800? That sounds (I can't believe I'm about to say this)............ cheap for such a setup! As we've talked about, I'm looking at the same (AP 6 pot front, AP 4 pot rear) for my car and I was budgeting a lot more than that to get it done!
  18. N1 block, stroked to 2.8L with HKS Step 2 kit and HKS 2530s is pretty much the best combo you can do on a GTR IMHO If you don't like it, sell the engine to me
  19. Hmmmm interesting... Add me to the Bummed Out "Why is my car in pieces instead of doing laps at EC and Oran?" Crew. I *may* get out there for a sticky beak if I have some spare time
  20. Hey guys, Completely understand your frustration with trying to contact Sydneykid in regards to your "group buy" order. Rest assured, we are discussing the on-going relationship between SAU and Sydneykid/Gary/Superior Suspension in the Admin/Mod forums, but as it stands there isn't a whole lot we can do. We have SAU Admins in the same boat as you (waiting 2-3 months for good to be delivered, and finding it very hard to get in contact with Sydneykid). Fact is, there is still that group buy thread open, so lets just use that one okay? There's no need to start a new thread just every time. Sydneykid last posted an update 2.5 weeks ago in that thread (linked in first post) that clearly outlines the issues he's having with his suppliers. He gets bits from several places to put these kits together for us, and diverse suppliers will often lead to sourcing issues and drawn out lead times, which is unfortunately out of everyone's hands. Cheers, Andrew.
  21. Wow.... You sound like a winner Good luck in life mate.
  22. Pffft.. They're both fantastic, but I hate the queues at Hurricanes. There was nothing I could fault about the steak I was served today, so no idea how anything could be "much better" That said, I've always had a great feed at Hurricanes as well. They just need to open up shop on the "much better" side of the Hbr Bridge. Not sure how you could like either place though... Neither serve satay
  23. You can't go then... You'll be taking Dundan's job!!! Had a perfectly cooked Kobe Rib-Eye steak at Ribs 'n Rumps today for lunch... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm steeeeeeeeak and chiiiiiiiiips.
