  1. Is that $700 for all four wheels and tyres?
  2. pwned. Beer Bitch is still around, making random appearances on Japanese DVDs
  3. Doesn't look like very good fitment there? I'm VERY VERY interested in buying carbon door skins, so I'm genuinely interested if this is a good product, but going by these photos I'm not so sure
  4. No muffler? Hardcore
  5. Yup... They're all 5.0 - 5.1kgs for the cat-back for the PE Ti-R and 6.7 - 7.1kgs for the PE Ti cat-back for GTRs. Roy, What "speed events" are you talking about exactly? Surely there wouldn't be any noise restrictions on private track hire days and private practice days? I just ordered a "bloody loud" Amuse Titan R1 exhaust which I fear will be very loud, and I don't want to run the car with a silencer
  6. Brand and specs on this one? Titanium cat backs are very light, but not THAT light.... 5.x kgs seems to be the norm from what I've seen.
  7. In for answer on this as well Ballpark price would be helpful
  8. Nice one mate... Thanks for posting that up
  9. Oops... didn't see the replies on this page
  10. You didn't mention the width of the wheels (offest and width work hand in hand to determine fitment and stance), but I can tell you that I'm 99% sure that they're not going to sit flush the guards at all... They'll sit in the guards and won't look as good as proper offset wheels. Look for +22 offset in a 9" wheel for good fitment on an R32 GTR.
  11. Absolutely... Fraud only ruins it for the rest of us. In any case, the fact that I use it on the track is irrelevant isn't it? I won't be claiming any damage that occurs on the track, so how is it relevant? The only pertinent information is that I only drive it on public roads about 10-15 times a year with a maximum of about 3000kms clocked. That's where I need the cover, and obviously fire and theft cover.
  12. Ermmmm.. Increasing the premium to factor in possible unlawful fraud doesn't seem fair to me. Isn't that what their accident investigation division is for? And a trailer is NOT simple
  13. No, I didn't tell them that... I wonder if that will help at all Good idea Just to cover the rest of the questions that might come up, I'm 28 years old, and have a perfect driving record, no claims or at faults in the past 5 years, 70% NCB with AAMI on my daily driver.
  14. So I've been ringing around to see what options I have for insuring my R32 GTR that will ONLY be driven to and from the track and workshops. It doesn't seem like any insurance companies have cover to suit: - Private import car (not locally delivered) - Extremely limited use - Less than 2000kms (Once a month when the car is driven to and from the track) - Extremely modified and high agreed value For an indicative $30,000 agreed/replacement value: - Shannons have quoted me - $1800-ish ($500 excess - "Extreme limited use policy") - Just Cars have quoted me - $1400-ish ($3700 excess - No kms limitations) These are just WAY too expensive to cover damage to the car on the drives to and from the track. That works out to be $100-150 each time I drive the car! What I'm after is a 3rd Party Property, Fire and Theft policy with agreed value. Just Cars and their $10,000 limit just doesn't cut it. So what are you all doing with your cars that only see track time and next to nil public road usage?
  15. Yeah, that's it
  16. Nope, it's not Aussie delivered... I haven't looked at the wiring, I just assumed that this was normal. No wonder I couldn't find anything on rewiring the taillights I'll have a look tomorrow, hopefully it's just a snipped wire. Cheers!
  17. I tried to search, but came up empty. Is there a DIY/FAQ/Tutorial written showing how to re-wire the rear tail lights on an R32 to make both stovetops light up when your turn on the headlights? At the moment, only the inside two lights light up
  18. Yeah, it's from old gearboxes that don't have synchros... The process was: Clutch in - Move to neutral - Clutch out - Clutch in - Move to next gear - Rev Match - Clutch out
  19. Placeholder for TE37 18x9.5" +22 (R32 GTR size) and some BBS LMs 18xsomething" +something Will update ASAP
  20. hehehe... No, I'm not going to modify that car. That is one car that I AM concerned about retaining its resale value Great dinner guys... Sorry I got trapped into the corner and couldn't talk to everyone... I tried to sit in the middle of the table, but as usual the late comers forced the early birds to shuffle down BAKA-DESU! Any ideas for next month's dinner venue? Old favourites or new and exciting suggestions welcome!
  21. I've asked them to move our table inside, because I only like getting wet at the beach.
