Just for research purposes, can anybody please tell me some info about the engine in the R31 GTS-X and what turbo they use ?? Are they the same set-up (turbo and engine) as the R32 or different ?? If different, then how ?? What are some good upgrades for the R31 GTS-X engine ?? More boost (do they have a boost cut, if so, what boost??), Filter, Exhaust BOV etc ?? What bolt-on turbo upgrades can you do on them ?? Would a chip to remove boost cut, speed cut etc be as simple to do as a R32 ?? Acceleration figures ?? Does anybody know of any good ones here on the forum that they have some info on.

No accidents at all, i even had it inspected before i purchased the car and it was all clear. Paint is in top condition, it looks as though the car may have had respray in Japan. But, with only 67000kms on the clock, it just goes to show how genuine the car is. The interior and exterior, plus the Japanese logbooks all confirm this. As far as overall price is concerned, PM me or e-mail me and i'll discuss it with you there as i don't want to get into that on the actual thread.

Look, i'm not a fan of leaving holes in the car so only easy to remove parts like the tacho, subs, floor mats which won't leave any traces of their presence.

I would maybe be able to negotiate to 18500 minus a couple of easy to remove parts. Tell your friend to contact me. These cars depreciate so fast, i paid more than my original asking price only six months and have spent a lot of money on it since. As far as power is concerned, they did a dyno run on the car when it was untuned so they could diagnose exactly what needed to be done and it had 160kw at the rear wheels. Take into account that the car is now fully tuned and runs a bigger turbo and it would have to be pushing 180-185kw at the rear wheels now. When the turbo was changed, the ratios and mixtures were checked and were 100%. A power run was not done at that stage due to time constraints.

I wish him good luck as it is a beautiful car. But, unfortunately for both him and I (i am trying to sell my R32 Tommy Kaira for a lot less than what i have invested in it), people expect to get a rare and premium car for the price of the cheapest stock example available at the time, regardless of condition. But, pass on my best wishes.

Happens to 90% of Skyline drivers. Happens to me too when i'm on the Motorway for 15 minutes as well. I can even pick when the light is going to come on to within 2 metres. Hicas still works though and the light goes off when i restart the car. Nothing to worry about.

I purchased a brand new genuine R32 GTR grille to put on my car but seeing i'm selling the car, i'm going to sell the grille. Paid $220 and it is still new so i'd like an offer around there.

bbenny, go the RB25, that's what i am using and i wouldn't change it for any other turbo. Well worth the money. If you read through this thread, everyone is saying the same thing and i can say from experience, it is the best turbo to use on a RB20.

i don't tell people either. I like the unique car idea. Even when offered money and more, i still declined. Good on you, i support your decision.

Maybe one piece could have been copied but i doubt the whole kit could have been copied. I know a lot of bodykit places are trying to get their hands on the kit as i got offered a lot of money by one place to copy it and i declined as i like having a car that is unique and different to other cars. Even if there is a copy out there, this has the original Tommy Kaira badges on every piece of the kit to prove authenticity and originality. These cannot be copied.

Add all the other mods in as well and it is a awesome car. I actually have been offered money by a certain bodykit place to copy the kit but i declined due to the rarity of the car. Here is an opportunity to own only one of only three known Tommy Kaira Gtst's in the country. And, with the new import laws, they should be the only ones. If someone can please host the pics, i'll gladly post them up.

more lag but comes on boost really really hard and holds boost all the way past the redline. i have an exhaust, filter, boost controller and Veilside chip. difference is huge.
